yeah when i saw i was blue and looked at the word list my initial reaction was "oh ok so we're gonna lose this round"

Storm was for cold/current/cloak/fork. I capitalised it to reference the superhero who wears a cape which is sorta like a cloak. Fork for forked lightning. I knew eye would be taken but i was hoping for a long shot and if you got a good list maybe i could get there next turn.

I don't follow much T20 franchise cricket but I know there's no team named Storm in the Blast/Hundred/IPL/BBL i guess there's the Hobart Hurricanes but that's different. Didn't really consider cricket as a road block.

Russia was just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping it'd miraculously stick lol.

You got all the right words for the right meanings which is great.

I went with October instead of produce because you might think of the other meaning of produce (to make something) and go off on the wrong path (horseshoe/table). October seemed safer.

There were animal blockers but luckily blue went for their animal words first.

I thought Shark was going to be collateral damage but fortunately you got the right ones. I contemplated "leggy" but table was going to be guessed then.

I wanted England to link all of Greece, Crown, Cross and Pound, but thought it was safer to go with Tonga 3 because Europe was blue. Also you might get cricket if I go for England - 4.

I felt confident to go for a 3 because blue still had 6 words on the board and the first word in their list was wrong. An unlimited clue wouldn't cut it for their remaining words.

I am curious what the Russia Fork connection is and also a little surprised that Storm wasn't discussed by blue in their most recent discussion.

there was no russia fork connection i decided to just send it as i needed a 6 clue to get them away from cricket and I didn't feel like spending hours thinking about a perfect clue when it was a doomed round from the start, so i just sent it hoping somehow they'd get there.

Fork was also impossible to clue for given table was the assassin
