The phrase "Stolen Election" has sort of become normalized now, but NC Republicans legitimately stole a State Supreme Court election today. Kinda crazy.
Dem won the statewide race by like 700 votes, so the Republican goes to the (GOP dominated) courts and asks to have a bunch of votes thrown out because they were absentee votes that followed established absentee rules instead of in-person rules.
Things like this have been tried before, and the courts always say "The time to argue this is before the election, not after you lose" and throw the cases out. Not this time.
