There are, of course, topics that craig would like to discuss in the P&S forum. Masculinity being one. Pretty clear he is getting zero traction in his thread that was moved to the philosophy forum, so he feels the need to muck up this thread. Sad.

The first problem we need to solve is understanding what you are trying to say. In my estimation, you are the only one who can solve the problem. I used to wonder whether you were unwilling OR unable to solve this problem. I now think you are both unwilling AND unable. Or to put it more precisely, I think you are unable to explain your views in a coherent way, and because you are unable to do so, you are unwilling to try. Instead, you prefer to play this game where you pretend like you are the Oracle of Delphi and we are the supplicants who should be grateful for the opportunity to sift through your pronouncements in search of meaning.

Sure. I can make a valid argument. Crossnerd made a broad generalization about the character of roughly half the people on the planet. Broad generalizations about the character of half the people on the planet almost always overstate the actual case.

FWIW, I'm sure Crossnerd was exaggerating her actual views for effect, which is why I didn't respond at the time and don't really care.

I don't think it's possible or appropriate to make a valid argument against a universal, bigoted comment with no logic behind it.

Personally I think a better solution would be to kill all women. That would lead the species to extinction more quickly.
