On Rory.............I am not sure he'd ever win the Masters if he didn't win today.
A normal human being would conclude they just don't have the nerves to do it.
Anyway, good on your Rory. Maybe this frees him up for more majors.

That was such a good watch, That has to be one of if not the best tournament not just the final round which was awesome in itself but the overall tournament had so many swings and roundabouts. So entertaining. Congrats to Rory.
The loser is 1st in the Fed Ex, 1st in money, has 3 wins already this year including the 2 biggest events, and is in the top 20 for all time PGA Tour wins with a lot of prime left. Anxious about majors and being a loser is kind of two different things.
Rory tied in majors with players like Koepka, Byron Nelson, Seve Ballesteros. If he gets one more for 6, that would tie Mickelson, Faldo, Trevino. Then the only player over the last 40 years to have more is Tiger Woods.
I'm not a fan of Rory. But he is a pleasure to watch and it was good to see him win. Hope the Rory vs Bryson in majors continues for the rest of the season, 2 electrifying golfers that a great to watch compete.

Hard to say Rory isn't the best player of this generation. Arguably already was before the green jacket.

I've only said "this guys gonna be great" about 2 sports figures in my life. the first was Tom Brady about 3 games after Drew Bledsoe got injured. the second was Rory when he first hit the tour.
for a few years i kept hearing Rory is washed up, on the decline, personal issues, liv bs yada yada.
now we're here. now he's in historic territory, not just great for his era. Great, period.
