Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards

Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?

I have read about it in the past, just curious.

From the Comenity Website (CEASAR'S VISA) For New card holders "Earn 5,000 Tier Credits after spending $5,000 in a calendar year " *2**2* Valid one time only. Account must not be in default. Redemption Details: Valid one time only. Duplicate offers will not be accepted. Offer will not be re-issued if lost, stolen or destroyed or with return/refund of merchandise.

FYI -- at the end of Feb 2025 I received the following email from Caesars Rewards:
Earn your Diamond status back using the Caesars Rewards® Visa Signature® Credit Card!*

Don't miss out on an opportunity to earn Diamond benefits in 2025. Earn your Diamond status back after you're approved for the Caesars Rewards® Visa Signature® Credit Card by March 1, 2025 and spend $5,000 outside of Caesars Rewards destinations in the first 90 days!*

======================

I had Diamond status in 2024 through the Wyndham Earners Business Card. But that arrangement was cancelled by Caesars on Jan 31 2025 and my status reverted to Gold. I figured it would be worth it to spend $5000 in order to get Diamond status again before the 2025 WSOP, so I applied for the card. It was approved but there was a delay before it was mailed. Unfortunately I was in Tucson for the entire month of March and did not get the card until I returned on Apr 2. I was planning on buy one big-ticket item that I need for $2000 and then buy $3000 in various grocery and Amazon gift cards that I could take my time to use. Lucky for me I called Caesars Rewards to find out a bit more. Turns out if I did spend $5000 on the card immediately it would still take 60 days (2 billing cycles) before I would get Diamond. Furthermore I discovered that my limit on the card was only $3000 so I couldn't fully spend $5000 until the 2nd billing cycle. So I gave up. Gonna have to use my Pearl status on MGM to park free at the Bellagio and walk over from there.

Anyone else get this same offer from Caesars?

Sure you can. Run up 3 grand on the card, then pay off a thousand or two before the due date, Then run up the charges to the limit again. You can pretty much charge an unlimited amount on the card that way. That's what I'm doing now with an MGM card.

mrnuxi - Yes New accounts can often get a better deal than existing CC holders unfortunately for me. Pig has the perfect approach for your low card limit they gave you.

Personally I pay the card off almost weekly anyway - but that's just my style I have it strictly for the points - both Reward and Tier Credits that it earns me. I use it for almost everything I buy anywhere so have no problem hitting the $5K purchase level. I love your idea of buying gift cards if you need to run up your own total quickly.

Why not just get the caesars credit card? Auto upgrades you to platinum every year.

You have to spend $5K after the first year.

I just got the TC multiplier applied this morning for my play at Danville on March 30, and now have 30,000 TCs from 2500 TCs worth of play.

I've also received my TCs from playing at Danville. I didnt realize how close I would be to Diamond Plus, so I guess I'll try for that. There's a 5x TC promo next week 4/14 - 4/20. I guess I'll play again to get the 500 TCs i need for Plus.

When you get the code for a free room after earning 5k tier credits, do they let you use them for consecutive nights?

I think I tried before and it wasn't allowed. Is that something you need to call them about if you want to group a few nights together with just the codes? Do they take it over the phone?

You can only do 1 day on the website. The rest you can get by calling. If you're lucky and you catch a gal that knows the score, she'll reserve all your nights. If not, you'll have to make a new call for every night. Make sure you tell the person at the check-in desk you have multiple reservations and want to stay in the same room.

If you get someone who doesn't know what they are doing it may be best to hang up and call back

I thought of exactly that strategy. But when I asked customer support they said I could not pay off early and then charge again. Maybe that person was clueless.

They DON'T have a clue. With your $3K limit Purchase $2K pay $2K You absolutely have $3K available again. Literally no other answer makes sense. It's a CREDIT limit not a Purchase limit. Good Luck

There's a short-term (3 months) status match by MGM going on. With CET, you need at least Diamond Plus and it matches to Gold at MGM. Higher cards match to Platinum. You can also match with a bunch of other hotel chains.

FWIW I have had the Caesars Card since 2021 and I use it for EVERYTHING I can for the Rewards Credits you earn. I was just given my 5,000 TIER CREDITS for my expenditures ( >$5,000 spent) in 2025. I did email Caesars support only 1 week ago just to be sure it did not slip thru the cracks but they wasted no time confirming with Comenity Visa and awarding me the Tier Credits. Now I just need to pick up 10,000 Tier Credits to retain my Diamond status for next year.

Is there a 10X in August in Vegas?

Also what about the 10X in Ontario which can be done with cheaper Canadian money.

by Karma m

It's $10 per tier credit on VP games, and you'll need either one day of 5000 tier points or two days of 2500 points each to get the bonus tier credits that get you to diamond. The EV cost of 5000 tier points on a 98.45% game is $775. Of course, your actual results will be all over the place. If you really want the sickest option with the least EV cost, the VPFree2 database sho

Thanks for breaking that down super helpful!

The EV estimate really puts the grind into perspective.

Curious if you’ve tested that $1 DDB setup at the Rio lately—still holding up at those stats?

FYI , there's a 5x tier credit promo running this week 4/14 - 4/20 across most casinos. Of course it's not the 10x but I was close enough to Diamond Plus that I went to Danville and picked up the points.

I’m debating going for Diamond Plus or not. The four drinks at bars would be nice but not sure how much I’d use that perk.

It may be event/offer specific, but the better video poker games (worse than 1TC/$10-wagered) are typically excluded from tier multiplier promotions. The tier rate is supposedly marked on the machines.

not worth chasing for that. they also pulled this benefit from a lot of people.

Note that Rio is no longer a part of CET and won't help you with any Caesars card status. You must have quoted an old post.

Confirmed multi is 5x slots and 7x tables this week in Vegas.

Also after a quick (not thorough walk) through, the e-roulette slot program was removed from the game king machines at PHo.

Wow, that post was ancient. Caesars downgraded that machine's paytables 5-10 years ago. And as mentioned, the Rio is no longer a Caesars property.

Of late, I'm getting way more tier score for my blackjack play than I was previously. I was getting like 200 for several hours of play last year. Getting 800 to 1000 the last month or so.
