Yesterday posing session afterword a girl comes up to me, young, skinny, gym noob, got the apparel but almost 0 muscle. I looked it up, and my Island, it's own city from 2021 or 2022, is 70k people. Not many people can say they've lived in a small city of 70k in China. Why the chins? I'm frustrated with having to wait so long on the pulldown machine. Noobs love selectorized machines and pulldowns are so easy to do and most people go to the gym are new and don't want to use what look like complicated or difficult machines, so tons of people, especially girls, will do 40 minute workouts of nothing but pulldowns and various other easy to learn machines. I like to be able to superset to economize my time to sleep on time so I'm just gonna do chins with straps. I looked back at pics last year and I'm not even sure if my back is a weak point or it just looks like a weak point when I'm higher in bodyfat because I store a bit more fat there. I don't need to be so fearful of chins and rows. Just strap up and make sure there's no forearm/elbow pain. Make sure there's enough total stimulus for my lats weekly. And if I remember correctly, the main issue was that I wasn't feeling it with pullups, but I did feel it well with underhand chins.

Speaking of pain, after not being very fastitudious with my shoulder prehabs I have some more right proximal bicep tendon for the first time in like 3 months. I'll take the next upper workout totally off and just do posing at home, take the upper workout a week from today light/easy, then back to it a week from Thursday maybe.

I also did machine press into moderate incline db largely to gauge my progress from last year. ARound this amount of time into dieting I was down to 13 reps, here I did 17 very casually not being as used to this movement and after having done more total work beforehand. I've definitely made progress. I wouldn't be surprised if I could get 20+. I don't plan to try and find out; just take it nice and slow don't get hurt don't push too hard don't overtrain. Chill...
