Could be wrong but I thought dept of education was just for K-12 and not universities.

I thought it also manages student loans

Til Harvard is a leftist college

Harvard like most elite colleges has been pushing radical leftism for a while, starting from DEI "values" and going through systemic racism in admission to favor minorities and so on

Do you have an alert that sounds after Luciom finishes a post so you can be the first to follow with a name-call or some other inanity?

LOL, that alarm would be ringing nonstop every day.

statistically speaking, probably a vast majority of posts by anyone other than Luciom is following a Luciom post.

If it’s so my bad .
But I find strange either way everyone wanted to stop federal government into educational affairs and yet trump doing exactly the opposite .
Why would it be different and more acceptable intervening into universities I have no idea then ….

Not mentioning private universities On top of that.
Never thought it was president function to manage private entities missions ….

The DoE does not accredit colleges/universities directly, but they do oversee the accreditors. They also provide financial aid (FAFSA, some student loans), and provide Title IX protections.

The dispatch just bought SCOTUSblog @rococo

That's a good point lol.

How about this: how many posts right after a Luciom post continue on the subject he's expounding upon, vs the posts just calling him a psychopath/grifter/fascist/racist?

20 to 1 name-calling vs continuation? Higher?

Maybe it's therapeutic to name-call and release frustration at an anonymous P&S poster, I dunno. If the goal is to harass Luciom to the point of shutting him up, I don't think it's working.

Luciom deserves absolutely nothing but ridicule or complete silence. Nothing else.

Daddy tell us about the olden days when Harvard's admission policies were fair.

Do you know who didn't allow students to go to school to study Marxism and then not pay the bill? Hitler. That's who.

The wealthiest have gotten richer, and control a record share of America’s wealth. New data suggest $1 trillion of wealth was created for the 19 richest American households alone in 2024. That is more than the value of Switzerland’s entire economy.

School?

School?

It's a place where people go to learn things.

Sounds more fun than weaving lanyards.

It's a place where people go to learn things.

But that's not important right now.

Boulder is a unique place and has been since at least the sixties, I personally love it. My wife went to Boulder High and the theme of her prom was an AIDS benefit and they had condoms everywhere. That was in the 90s so I'm not sure this is really anything new.

Everyone knows that repressed sexuality, being educated by porn and nobody having a clue other than hormonal drives is the best way for teens to figure this stuff out.

Now, if anyone is worried about their teenage children being turned promiscuous, there is probably no better way to drive them to celibacy than by having them sit through sessions with slightly cringy hippies speaking about the joys of sex. And they might actually learn a few important things about STDs and pregnancy along the way.

Both of my sons attended classes like these at our church where the instructors used words like penis and vagina. Pretty sure it did not emotionally stunt either.
