Mike Postle cheating allegations (FAQ in first post)
Surprised nobody has jumped on this to post here...
On Twitter yesterday I believe Mike Postle is being accused of cheati

Did anybody see this dumpster fire?
So thirsty
Maybe it all comes out in the last episode but this series does nothing to further prove if Postle had an βinside manβ accomplice. If she was trying to imply Roger, who left before the cheating started, was the accomplice she made a very weak argument.
It just seems like a ploy to regain her βinternet famousβ status that she wasnβt able to maintain on her own.
I don't think she ever said this and said many times Roger had left way before the cheating started........ (feel free to show where she said this?)
Saying that, Rogers reaction, not answering the simple question about the cheating, saying he is friends with Postle and defending Justin as a good guy (who just said he is glad people got cheated) makes people wonder what he knows?
This is beyond him saying, "I wasn't around and don't know what went on."
Roger is clearly a smart man and understands poker. After watching the hands, how can any reasonable person say there was no cheating?
The only people defending Postle all seem to have his number on Speed dial.
D.
I have no idea what you are saying here, dreamer. The video series certainly discussed the possible accomplice(s) after introducing a list of suspects, including Roger.
veronica, i hate the poster you're dunking upon, he's an absolute douche
but you can't fault him for not being able to follow your stream of consciousness personal attack project because it's an absolutely unstructured and incoherent mess that doesn't tell a story at all and does nothing but paint you as vapid, difficult, and attention seeking
I thought it was structured well but there was a lot of irrelevant information and collateral damage.
veronica, i hate the poster who is defending you as he's an absolute douche
but a 70 year old expat with no expertise who thinks your stream of consciousness personal attack project sucks because it's an absolutely unstructured and incoherent mess that doesn't tell a story at all and does nothing but paint you as vapid, difficult, and attention seeking.
Luckily, no one caters to that demographic here.
Instead of personally attacking the educational attainment of the poster, just disprove their claims. You might get a bit more positive attention this way.
oh come on, you guys drag me constantly on this forum. you want me to have nice comments to you all when you 1. misrepresent my work (because the people commenting have either not seen it or didn't pay attention) 2. insist i'm doing this for a reason that only a person with the emotional capacity of a 14 year old could come up with..for attention.
But i am sure you get into other forums when people share stories of impactful things that happened to them where there was a huge injustice if it happened more then (umm well let's see maybe 3 to 5 years might be too much for all of you) 3 YEARS AGO.
It's mid blowing to be.
what's funny to me is if i see a video or something that i don't want to see i just don't watch it, i don't go on line and drag the author or creator. but i guess in this forum that is par for the course.

This, 100 percent.
I (and I'm sure others) have said this multiple times, but every single experienced poker pro (and experienced amateurs, for that matter) conclude that he cheated. Meanwhile, your post is dead-on: the people defending Postle's side seem to have little to no actual credentials in the game, and appear to be nothing more than really close friends to him. It makes me wonder the extent to which Roger understands poker, or if he's being purposefully obtuse to stand in front of his boy.
For that matter, think how many people asked for Postle or one of his cronies to find one hand β just one β from the span in question where he makes a bad fold or runs one of his crazy bluffs into the nuts. No one ever did.
Why does a low limit cheater, that didnβt even win that much and was talked about on here to death, warrant this mini series with such great production value?More money was lost in random multi accounting scandals, at Agua caliente live games, and Iβm sure Russ Hamilton stole more from that live game he hosted in Florida for years than what was lost in the postle scandal. Let p
Veronica is a narcissist that has milked this for everything itβs worth, he obviously cheated and only got caught by pure greed.
Why hasnβt βallegationsβ been removed from the thread title yet?
There's certainly a degree of structure in the way it is divided into sub-topics and significant effort has gone into the script. But it does bounce around a lot.
This is an account of events as Veronica sees them and I don't think she's claiming it is anything more. There's no real effort to provide balance.
She is direct in accusing Kuraitis of being involved and shares suspicions about various other individuals. imo she doesn't come close to proving Kuraitis was guilty, relying on various circumstantial elements to support her view. In the cases of other individuals she is not categorical in saying they were involved (at whatever level) and doesn't present a strong case that they were. But that's reality - she can suspect someone may be involved but not be sure and not have absolute proof. She does say where she doesn't feel certain.
She does not focus much on the statistical evidence incriminating Postle, but is up front about that not being her strong point.
Veronica has shared an inside view of the events she witnessed in Stones and I don't see any strong reason to doubt that was how she saw things. Accounts given by others differ on certain matters (eg what Roger said to her in the booth, how long Kuraitis wore a mic) but not enough that it couldn't be accounted for by differences in perception or recollection by those involved.
She's put in considerable effort into scripting and production, and seasoned with a touch of humour, making it very watchable. It gives interesting insight into how the scandal developed and unfolded.
God Mode the Theories
It's obvious he cheated, but I have dumb question (it may have been answered before):
Why would all these people cheat, and ruin their reputations, for such little money?
Mant have no reputation to ruin. For most, it’s excessive greed with no other potential means to acquire even these little amounts.
I think it was the guy on the grassy knoll.

Because casino employees donβt make shit, and low level mediocre grinders like Postel donβt make shit either.

whenever people ask me why it is i don't get caught when counting cards my first response is "you need to realize the dealers, camera operators, and pit boss's are making close to minimum wage and thus either don't care or are not equipped to notice"
Why’s everyone piling on Veronica when she’s done so much for the poker community!
