Yep this is all accurate. This isn’t that hard to figure out.

He was not a top prospect to start with. But I think he would have at least gone late first or sometime in the second if not for how Deion and shedeur handled everything in the draft process and throughout the year. During the year, you had Shedeur throwing teammates under the bus to the media. And no one wants to put up with the headache of Deion and trump and everyone else that would constantly be asking why shedeur isn’t playing. Even the video they put out last night and Deion insinuating that it’s some sort of collusion or is like Karl is hitting his son even more. It’s **** like that that makes teams not want the headache, especially for a backup qb. Can you imagine having someone like shedeur as your backup? It’s one thing if he’s elite and will be starting (you can put up with his selfishness and poor attitude then), but it’s a cancer if he’s the backup and you have Deion talking after every game where the qb plays poorly.

Bottom line, seedier and Deion caused all of this themselves. They didn’t go through the process like he was a normal guy which showed that he thinks he deserves special treatment even though he hasn’t earned it at all. They didn’t talk to half the league and reports are that he interviewed awfully and treated other draft prospects poorly as well. You can’t have that type of attitude as a qb, especially not as a backup qb.

Shedeur needs to tell Deion to shut up and be quiet (kinda like the ball kids did with Lamar.) but it’s essentially impossible with Deion and he likely thought what Deion was telling him would help. It’s all Deion knows and he didn’t realize how much it would backfire on an unproven guy going through the draft process. It worked for Deion bc he was generational. Shedeur is not.

Nothing like watching a 4th round WR clown Travis Hunter over and over on film. And Shedeur still not drafted..... I'm smiling.

Seems fine to me for Cleveland. If you don't have a QB, you should be taking multiple shots at finding one. Picking up both Flacco and Pickett is a waste now, but they probably had no idea they could get Sanders this low.
