Zionism is a political doctrine. Non-Zionists, including a sizeable minority of both liberal and orthodox Jews, disagree with it.

We are gaining on the PR front but we're not winning. It is still true that the only countries who have come to the aid of people, in this so called modern era, who are being mass killed for their ethnicity, are South Africa and Yemen.
Do PR victories translate into real victories fast enough to make a difference? I think it is very uncertain. If I was Israel, a fascist genocidal state looking to kill and ethnically cleanse every Palestinian from Gaza, I would do it now with my Trump puppet in control. Israel can also rely on those in power in the West never being willing to admit they made an error in judgement and would never admit to their complicity in anything, no matter how heinous. I think Israel's calculation is like it's not a crime if everybody in power does it or, at least, it's not a crime that is ever going to be punished.
And what would you do, Bill? You're going to keep voting for any Democrat because they're not MAGA. And what are those Democrats going to do to help the Palestinians? Not a damn thing because we don't have a single leader in our entire government and people like you are not going to work to make it that we do because, in parallel with the Dems complicity in genocide, people like you can't admit how wrong you have been in supporting Democrats this whole time. Israel is leveraging American ego and our sense of personal infallibility to pave their path to genocide and this gambit extends deep into the Democratic party rank and file. I don't think public opinion is enough to slow Israel down under the current dynamics. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't ever see anyone in power taking a stand against the Zionists here or in Europe. I think we're a bunch of weak cowards whose leadership is now totally corrupt and we cannot impose any moral order even domestically let alone in the wider world.

There’s no genocide though and while support for Israel is bi-partisan, the politicians vocally opposing Israel are mostly Democrats. No matter how much you squirm, the reality since Trump took power is that the Israeli right gets to do whatever it wants while no one cares about the Gazans.
