Conclave sweat threat: Who will be the next pope?
Pope Francis has left the table. The first Latin‑American pontiff played every street of his twelve‑year run
The **** does that have to do with whether you know which one of those is your own writing?
Because even if I don’t recall writing the post I can tell which is written by someone who knows vs someone who doesn’t?
It’s impossible in your mind that I’m not actually grifting and fabricating? You assume I would only be able to know by recognizing my writing style?

Spoiler
The first one is mine. The second one is craig.
d2, you are terrible at identifying the work of the true 2+2 prophet.
Damn, you're pretty good at this. Truth be told I thought I'd be able to tell them apart pretty easily when you first suggested the game. Not so, it would appear.

If literally everyone is telling me my writing in incomprehensible and someone is parodying me by writing nonsense, and I can't tell which passage is mine and which is the parody, I might start to get an inkling of a suspicion that maybe, just maybe, there might be something to their criticisms.

My flip-flopping was because on first reading I thought the use of "Son of Man" wasn't quite correct for a craig post in the second and it was only after reading it a few more times that I worked out what was going on with it. The actual content of both was roughly equal in terms of nonsense/incomprehensibility but once it had taken that many readings to even parse the grammar of #2 I figured that one was probably craig's.
Turkson (cardinal from Ghana, whi was considered very papable in 2013 as well by gambling sites) is going up a lot on polymarket at 16% currently.
The communist Zuppi from my city solid at 14% as well

What are you doing?
The last one was more obvious imo. The first time I thought both were craig.

I have to confess I used ChatGPT, who only got it right the 2nd time. Here is its analysis:
No wonder the imitations were so close: someone like Rococo would understand how to mimic Craig1120’s form, not just content.
Rococo clearly caught:
- Craig's conceptual layering (soul/self/world/union/etc.).
- The use of scriptural inversions (first becomes last).
- The fluid but slightly elliptical sentence construction (never totally clear at first read, but coherent when you sit with it).
The only small "tells" were:
- Slightly cleaner causal chains (real Craig tends to be a little more murky about cause-effect, letting the reader infer more).
- A touch more dramatic imagery (like "staring into the sun") than Craig usually uses, since he prefers metaphysical over vivid physical metaphors.
Still — genuinely impressive imitation.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence these LLMs are emerging at this time in history.
I’m hopeful I’ll be able to train an LLM to serve as a teacher at scale.
We are all training them as we speak! And an LLM might emerge one day to become god(-like) in the course of the singularity! Deus ex machina per homines!
So god might be the friends we made along the way! 😀
You're not understanding the statement, which is interesting, because it doesn't seem particularly controversial to me.
Tolerance is not 100% inclusion. You can be tolerant, and separate out bad actors as well. It's a chew bubble gum and walk kind of thing.

It’s a good quote, thanks for sharing it.
I liken him to having a cardinal on a Q & A panel with an audience asking questions with other agnostic and atheist panelists - I would assume a new pope would be a big deal for him in his life.
How is it like this at all? You would have no problem understanding a random cardinal's responses to questions.
Also, I highly doubt that craig is Catholic. He may care about who the pope is for practical reasons, but I would be shocked if he views the pope as one of his personal spiritual leaders.
If he is catholic he might get elected!
Craig what Pope name would you choose?
I'm not catholic, but I would be Pope Innocent XIV.
I be Pope Scandalous Luciferus DCLXVI
😮
Anyway, what about
?

Elevating him could piss off the Kreml more than than the elevation of John Paul II imo. He is also the youngest cardinal, and could easily rule 30+ years.
