Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

But no Burrow?

I’m sad I was never able to secure late 4th Chase Brown pre-draft. It was happening.

Honestly it sounds harsh, but at this point I'm rooting for Burrow to twist his ankle (sorry Lig if you're out there) in Week 1. Browning is decent enough that Chase can still have some spike weeks.

You can just be heavy on your Burrow stacks in your UD drafts haha.

This first ADP update is throwing me off, along with drafters still not following along with certain players.

It's going to be weird when I start up again in a couple weeks to see how different things will probably be.

Yeah, I imagine it'll probably take until after the schedule release for things to settle in.

Added a TeSlaa share lol. But it seemed fair on a Goff team in the 18th with no other rookie WRs. Slayton would have been my other choice.

Goff, Stroud, Tua

Hampton, Cook, Kaleb, Allegier, Dobbins

Nico, ARSB, Ridley, Waddle, Mooney, Kirk, TeSlaa

Ferguson, Schultz, Arroyo

How do y'all feel about Njoku? I just got him at 139. I'm not sure if I'm a fish or scooping value on the fall.

I just took him in round 10 as my TE1 . I hope he’s still good.

Me too. He has QB plus Fannin risk, but generally, it seems like betting on TEs of his profile is just the right thing to do, regardless of situation.

I like him, but he wasn't someone I was going out of my way for to get.

5% pre-draft
9% post-draft (only 11 teams so far)

Me neither, but if he's going to be two rounds cheaper post-draft, I'll take it. It seems bad by the market. I said I wanted to fade Cleveland, but Njoku being in the 12th/13th is going to be hard to fade.

Waddle is also falling, and I don't get it. I just got him at 66 on UD.

All the WRs around Waddle have been falling. Flowers, Smith, Jamo, Olave.

Probably because of all the rookie RBs that have been pulled up. Hampton, Harvey, Henderson, Judkins, Kaleb,

DK Crowns + NBA DFS + Winning $3 = one more team

Not my favorite WR room, but I think it's serviceable. Go Falcons, I guess.

Mahomes, Penix

Bijan, Kyren, Javonte, Guerendo, Allen, Shipley, Dobbins

London, Worthy, Jamo, Parsall, Egbuka, Mooney, Palmer, AD

Kelce, Pitts, Higbee

Exposures so far in first 5 rounds (only 12 teams). I might actually end up with 0 Walker. I took him at a decent clip (13%) pre-draft, but after a closer look, I think he's too expensive. Numbers have been going down year-over-year, and he has yet to play a full season. I think if I'm going RB in the 5th, then it's Chuba or taking a shot on Henderson/Harvey.

Another guy I'm tempted to fade entirely is Kamara. Simply based on his age, but since he still has receiving upside, I might just end up with 4% or so.

Yeah, I think that's part of it. And all of those names just viewed as "boring" by the community right now. They want the shiny toys. 3 of those 5 RBs went ahead of Waddle where I got him at 66.

I also got Waddle at 61 and 64 in other rooms last night. I've only done 9 drafts, but he's currently my highest drafted WR in 4 of those 9 haha.

I haven't drafted Walker yet post-draft, but yeah, that Sea offense scares me all around. Probably a lot of better options around him right now. Only one share of Charbs so far, in the room below.

I've drafted Kamara once so far at 77. That seemed like a far enough fall. It ended up being a fun zero RB room. But I don't want much. I think I'm going to mostly fade the RBs of the teams I expect to be in the bottom 33% of the league for offense. Kamara with dead arm Carr or Shough doesn't sound like a great offensive environment. But maybe Kellen Moore can pull something out of his ass.

It feels like the olds are the values right now with the rookie fever going on. In the couple drafts I’ve done, I’ve just been drafting olds with roles that didn’t get worse via draft in the late rds

Can’t wait till training camp reports start so I can start hammering fun rookies again haha

Haha, I'm feeling the same way. I kept looking at the teams I was drafting last night like, where are the rookies? Some of my pre-draft teams were close to half rookies.

I drafted 7 teams total, here are the total rookies per team.

I do plan on stacking Tua with whoever they announce as his backup, whether it's Wilson or Ewers. Only on teams where I have an elite QB1 though, and at max 3%.

Maybe it's a progression in our best ball growth lol. I definitely blindly hammered rookies last season at times.

The winner of the DK Milly last year had 5 rookies.

BBM5 - 2
BBM4 - 3
BBM3 - 2
BBM2 - 0
