I was semi surprised that the Lions picked up Jameson Williams.

I guess they still believe in his potential and he might develop into an absolute game breaker given his tools, but he’s so ****ing dumb and unreliable and doesn’t seem like the mentality of the rest of the roster.

Obviously very hard to know much about personality and culture from the outside and they deserve the benefit of the doubt but it surprised me a little

I think Sanders will make it, at least as a journeyman semi-starter/semi-backup. Lots of them around. And he has upside.

The more I read about Sanders the more it appears he has character issues that rival those of Johnny Football. So fitting that the Browns picked him up.

I don't think he has the temperament to play that journeyman or backup role. I'm not sure daddy would accept that either and that might well become public with all the accompanying issues.

I really think a big part of Sanders issue is his dad. Any team that drafted him would get Deion constantly criticizing them because Shedeur hasn't started by week 5. Plus the media would join in on that and make whatever team drafted him look bad, even if they are making the correct decision. No team wants to put up with that BS on a national level. Why put yourself in that situation?

on a completely unrelated note, learned today the Charbaugh UDFA signings include QB DJ Uiagalelei and not brother TE Patrick Herbert (he went to needle's team...should be servicable)

rumors are dju becomes some sort of hybrid flex TE who might also be servicable as an emergency backup QB

Analytics guys are up in arms that Uiagalelei didn't get drafted. He has the highest vowel to consonant ratio of any QB in the modern draft era. When will NFL teams finally catch up?
