I still think registration for the WSOP will be via BravoPokerLive and I expect it to go live in two days -- this Friday.

Signed up for the WSOP+ app and transferred by buy in to Luxon Pay. Hope I can buy in directly now

Here is the full link:

Of note is this passage:β€œAccording to the official information on the WSOP website, all players will need to register with the app to enter tournaments”I, for one, have not seen this on the WSOP website. In fact, the usual link to registration info @

It's their first time.

Before you can use any of the online payment methods, you’ll need to go through an in-person verification process, during which you’ll have to present your ID so that it can be confirmed that the information on the ID matches that on the payment account.

Those wanting to use a Paris Tournament Account to fund their buy-ins will first need to set one up (if they don’t have one already). Then, they’ll need to deposit funds into the account, which will be linked to the WSOP Plus app. From there, they can use funds available in the account to buy into tournaments.

That is what the link posted is saying - Heaven knows I hope they get this out and useable soon and the details made clear to all of us.

There'll be nore news on Monday per Kevmath. The page was briefly up on wsop before it was taken down.

Is the WSOP site down for anyone else?

I keep getting “403 Forbidden” every time I try to access it from my phone.

So going through the verification process on the WSOP+ app means nothing since you still have to verify in person?

OK, I just installed the WSOP+ app on my iPhone and created an account. Not ready to concede that this GG app displaces BravoPokerLive as the way to register for WSOP events. Still no online WSOP registrations as of this moment in time.

Heavy hand of NSUS / GG Poker?

Heavy hand of NSUS / GG Poker?

Ok. I predict the seniors event attendance will drop 60% :p

by parisron m

That's ridiculous. I'm physically unable to use a touch screen so I don't have a smartphone. Guess I'm staying home this year and probably saving thousands.

Having used both, I can easily state WSOP+ app >>>> Bravo

How does one make payments using WSOP+?

How does one make payments using WSOP+?

According to KevMath we will know on Monday. The process will probably be somewhat different than the one used in the Bahamas.

I used crypto in Bahamas. Will now be using Luxon Pay (as crypto not available, obviously).

Isn't Negreanu on some player's advisory council? He's always complaining abut the WSOP, surprised he isn't talking.

For those that used WSOP+ app in Bahamas, how do they handle late reg?
In large tourneys last year (e.g. Colossus), late reg would have to wait in a long line just to get their seats and chips. Would the WSOP+ app remove the need to be in a line by just alerting us when our table is ready?

You still have to get chips. It would be more secure to have them given to you at the table as opposed to a designated line, but I’m not sure what the logistics would be for them getting to the table

Yeah they don't like to trust dealers with chips aside from the starting stacks. This is probably a wise move on their part, given the quality of some of the dealers for day 1 of large field events. Some of the worst dealers really need to be watched like a hawk already, adding the complicating factor of them having chips in their tray would just make it worse.

Yeah. It’s not just chips in the trays. It’s getting them there. Floors or somebody would have to be constantly walking around with chips when seats open up. A lot easier to just have all the chips in one place. It’s less secure as far as players are concerned, but certainly easier to manage.

They could just call people to the late reg desk in groups based on reentry number, like the Wynn does. This alone would be a huge improvement on the current situation

Is Luxon Pay a good option to use to buy into WSOP tournaments for UK players? Anyone know what the fees etc are?

Trump doing everything he can to ruin Vegas / the WSOP?

You do realize that has been the law since 1952 right ?
