Here we go again, another 90 minutes of ‘Joe goes home’ talk just to see Mitch go home

Part of me wants something unexpected to happen this episode so that we aren't bored to tears, but part of me wants Mitch to go home to punish him for refusing to play the game

Finally a good one. That was the best episode of the season. I also haven’t laughed that hard at this show in a while.

every time Jeff yells "bring in the boats!" I imagine it in Frau Farbissina's voice and it's way better

I was still ticked off when they all passed on the chance to get rid of Joe last week, and this week they are not happy that Joe won immunity. WTF did you expect? Mitch esp not willing to play the game last week was sad.

Anyway, it turned out great, even though Joe almost blew it all up with his discussion with Shauhin.

A question. We keep getting the edited narrative that nobody knows that Kyle and Camilla are working together. And yes, it was smooth that Kamilla voted Mitch tonight to keep the cover story up. But, with cameras at so many discussions/meetings that Kyle and Kamilla have had, how could they not know they are working together?

Unless the producers encourage lots of one on one discussion between non allies and therefore these meet ups don't raise suspicion.???

Also, if Joe thinks back to David's biggest beef, he'd recall that Kyle wanted to keep tweaking the plan to save Kamilla, and that was a big part of David freaking out..... that no one else saw it.

PS. Shauhin made perfect picks for the reward.

By going for Shauhin over Eva it now gives Joe a 40% chance of making final 4 rather than 20% (all else being equal)

The only game rational conclusion is Kyle, Kamilla & Mitch must think they can beat him at final tribal.

Either way I hope we get to find out if he is indeed the Tom Westman/Jeremy Collins or just the Coach/Mike Turner

Still expecting my prediction to come true where Joe throws Eva into fire making and she goes home there, nailing another jury vote for him while also not making him look bad for voting out the autistic girl.

But she's the one who 'knows' Shauhin has an idol. She should be motivated to vote him. Could've been the plan to throw the extra on Mitch just in case Shaw played his idol

Yeah, either Joe and Eva are with them in voting Shauhin or they’re not. So Kyle and Kamilla can comfortably split to boost the story.

If it comes down to Joe and Eva I'm going to be furious if they award Joe the win over her.

But splitting seems fishy. Like if that's the story, why wouldn't Kamilla be voting Shauhin?

From the broadcast edit it's been a pretty good covert alliance between Kyle and Kamilla. But if both get to the end it is really hard to see how Kamilla spins this into her advantage. It seems like this hidden alliance benefits Kyle way, way more than it does her, if it comes to that at FTC. Kamilla needs to get oust Kyle at F5 I think to put a bow on her game.

And then she gets put into fire at 4 and it’s over

They just need to dodge a JoEva immunity which would seem better than 50%

100% agree. The next time on Survivor kinda showed her saying this to Kyle. The next time on Survivor is always misleading. Kyle >>>>>>>>> Kamilla ftc every single time. Especially how it's been edited. Kamilla should rather face Joe in the finals than Kyle.

I mean, if you're thinking about jury management Kyle/Kamilla both want the other to be on the jury, not sitting next to them to give them a guaranteed vote to win. Same with Joe/Eva (although I think Eva isn't smart enough to realize this but Joe is). Mitch is clearly 0 vote finalist if he makes FTC (and likely does).

When I run the likely numbers I think if Joe sits at FTC he wins. Only person who has a shot at beating him is Kyle if they are there together. Eva has been second banana the entire time to Joe, and even with the credit for their duo, Kamilla isn't popular enough with jury members to get votes IMO.

I think she is smart/aware enough to know that would giver her a big edge , but I don't think she'd do it.

Joe would/will when push comes to shove (and perhaps give us some faux emo tears about how tough it would be to do), but Eva is not likely to do it. Her loyalty to Joe is sincere to a flaw, it seems.

Because Shauhin "has" the idol, and when you know someone has the idol, you split.

So I think the split is part of the sell coming back to camp after TC, regardless of the results.

Yes but that's an agreed upon split by joe/eva/kyle/kamilla. It's not like people think Kamilla voted Mitch without being in the know, so it doesn't do anything to boost the story that she's not allied with Kyle.

Right, she wasn’t trying to sell not being in the know. She was trying to sell Shauhin having the idol.

And I’m not even convinced it was agreed upon with Joe/Eva, but it very well could have been. Whether they agreed to it or not, the split is a good move to further convince Joe, who won’t know otherwise until he either loses at 5 or makes it to FTC.

If there are only 5 players left, wouldn't the average of any specific player getting to the final 4 be 80%?

Joe blew it by not asking Shauhin more direct and specific questions. As it is now, he still does not know if Shauhin left the game with an idol or if Kyle and Kamilla lied to him.

Saying you think Joe is going to stealth cut Eva to get her vote on the jury invalidates your reads. I assume anyone saying this is just trolling.
