This is the year I promise AND KEEP THAT PROMISE to not shred pokergo.I'm sure I'll have the same complaints as the prior yearsBut I'm gonna show personal growth and just accept it for what it isand not post about it.However, I want you all to think of me the first time the schedule says, "coverage starting at 7PM EST" and it doesnt start until 3 hours later when I have to go t

They don’t control when final table starts, the amount of players left and cards do

by ScotchOnDaRocks m

dont pull me back into this!
They can show non-final tables too
They could just send one of the last two tables to the feature and start production.
Given how important making it to a final table is, when the pay jumps start
I'd suggest seeing who got knocked out in 12th, 11th, and 10th place would make for great drama

But dont do this to me!!
I PROMISED, you're already making me slip up!

Yes they can, but then they probably can’t follow the coverage onto the next day. I see their point in how it wrecks their schedule.

The WSOP.com website has changed...FOR THE WORSE...in my opinion.

I don't see any structure sheets for the upcoming WSOP, like the old site did.

Yea, new WSOP website, maybe they will add the structures back in but you can see them now in the WSOP+ app, also in that app there is a stories created with questions, and I see some guy registered for several events, you can see the name and if they had any stats, etc. which he doesn't. So should be interesting when things get moving.

Yeah, hopefully they fix it.

Other weird things:

In the bracelet history section they imply that no woman has ever made the main event final table, which has definitely happened.

The all-time cashes section now includes all cashes on GGPoker, not just WSOP cashes.

I also note that on my own player profile page all of the GGPoker prizemoney amounts have increased by 0.5% (a small amount, but still weird). It has also changed the country I am from.

Also you can no longer sort these by date, only by biggest prize.

Yeah they had the 2025 structures a week or so ago

Hopefully, all of that can be fixed soon. For the stats, at least add an option to sum the bracelet event data (right now, you have to separately pick WSOP, WSOP Europe, etc.).

I believe bracelets started with the 1976 Main Event only (so Doyle Brunson got the first one). The photo they used for that section is wrong (it's from the 1970 WSOP despite the image file being labeled 1976). And 1982 was the last year without bracelets as they awarded gold watches to all the winners except Vera Richmond, who specifically requested and received the traditional bracelet.

And perhaps worst of all, on player's pages you can no longer tap on the tournament for more details... because all of the tournament pages are gone!

Structures are all on the app now - wish they were still on the wsop.com domain too though...

Has anyone actually tried purchasing a tournament entry using a credit card on the app yet?

That's going to make scraping the results database more difficult if not impossible. Keep your DB safe - you may be the only benevolent keeper of WSOP history left!

There's still Hendon, CardPlayer, and GPI, but online bracelet events could be a problem.

The one positive here: scratching "Change Hendon tournament links to WSOP.com" off my To Do list.

S Points sorted by highest. Some tournaments are missing:

"I am missing a few tournaments though. WSOP dailies, Venetian WPT event #83, 3 Aria satellites and MGM event #22 and every MGM event after 6/25/2025" from the creator.

What proof of being in the casino industry do I need to bring when I register the casino industry event? I assume my badge and a paystub should be sufficient?

Proof of life obv ;-)

Not even that. They have said there is no longer any proof needed to register. And vloggers, bloggers, streamers, etc. all qualify to participate now.

Glorious weather out there boys.

98 degrees but I’m cold getting out of the pool.

It’s called evaporation and is why the β€˜it’s a dry heat’ is oh so accurate.

I’ll still probably be cold, didn’t you read that science evaporation lesson above?

Curious of this as well. I didn't know this was a thing and I saw Kevmath saying AE, Mastercard, something else. Does Visa work? Silly question maybe but I found it odd he'd leave it out.

And to add to this question, can you use it just at the cage? I like registering in person and getting my ticket. Id guess so. Thanks

I love a dry heat. Sweat actually works. Here you just get wet to go along with being hot. And you still need to grow gills.

I used to live East Coast but enjoy living in desert.

Did 7 mile hike this morning, was fine. But did pool again today in 100 and was colder getting out then I was tailgating for NFC Championship game lol

At least they let everyone know how long "LateLeg" is for each tournament...

Yes, we're all thinking it, and it's almost certainly the case.
