Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream

Peacock ad free is not worth $14 a month. Not a chance in hell.

It is for me just for the Premier League games.

It's worth it if you don't have cable since you get SNF and also all the big WWE events.

Overcompensating on Prime is really good. Sort of a John Hughes’ approach to high school/college drama but surrounded by slapstick. Very juvenile jokes but a lot of heart.

Again, several of their big deals are expiring soon. WWE is gone in January.

As a long time Phoenix resident, really loved S1E1 of Duster on Max (you may know it as HBO?) I've been here since the 70's, it's fun seeing places they've been using for exterior shots that you know, though they claim filming in ABQ. Story is pretty good, acting is whatever (Hollaway seems like he's always trying to stifle a smile), soundtrack is awesome so far. One episode in, I can recommend.

Bad Thoughts on Netflix is some dark, sick, disgusting, twisted ****! I loved it 😀 By Tom Segura, 6 short episodes which is a bunch of comedy vinettes that push the boundaries of good taste. Comedy is back!

Anyone watch Murderbot on Apple+?

I’m going to start inserting this post into random conversations.

“How was the dentist?”

“I have to go back for a double root canal. That said, it isn't even an issue for me bc i receive Peacock free as a Diamond Xfinity Rewards member.”

I figured it would get renewed. Season 3 was good, but they're starting to waver on the edge of creating storylines to create storylines. I think they should wrap it up in season 4, but I read rumors the creators/producers want it to be a 5 season series.

I finally had a chance to watch Paradise. Man, was that a good show. I'm really looking forward to season 2. It sounds like the creator already has the scripts written and they are filming, with the goal to be out early next year. I also read the intention is for a 3 season series.

I watched the first 4 out of 10 of Motorheads on Prime, high school drama centered around racing cars, it's worth watching but not great or anything. Ryan Phillippe is in it, thankfully not play a high school kid. lol

His real-life son is in it also, a bunch of 25 to 28 year olds playing high school kids but at least it's not like FNL's with mostly 28 to 32 year olds. lol

fast n furious highschool

Finally watched paradise … really really good show

I liked Paradise. Along with Silo and Fallout, I think I've really found my genre in 'corrupt underground post-apocalyptic worlds'.

Got Britbox on the cheap to check out Ludwig among other things, it's good.

I am liking Duster and Murderbot after the first few.

Sirens was decent, only 5 episodes.

Both Duster and Murderbot are far better than I expected. Especially Duster. Didn’t see a trailer so I wasn’t expecting a crime thriller. Good ones are on short supply these days!

New season of Conan O'Brien Must Go is fun.

Three episodes of him doing silly stuff in Spain, New Zealand, then Austria.

I loved the 6-episode "Secrets We Keep" Netflix TV miniseries. I binged it over three days. It in Danish with Eng subtitles. It is a disappearing person mystery set in the upper crust North Zealand suburb of Copenhagen Denmark. Just as you think the mystery is wrapped up it comes up with another plausible twist after twist. It has great acting and it has many interesting characters from the barely surviving immigrant au pairs to middle class professionals to police detectives to rich guys with sexy wives. I admit I didn't expect the very ending. Enjoy.

RIP Wheel of Time

Shame, I liked it. Not a big surprise it didn't make it through such a huge series though.
