In Gaza, they repeatedly tell people where the safe areas are and then bomb those safe areas on the supposed grounds that Hamas will head there, which is not a good look.

Israel had a right to achieve complete destruction of any Palestinian group that hates Jews decades ago.

About 103,000 people were able to leave through the Rafah crossing from November 2023 to May 2024, at a cost of $2,000-$5,000 per head to Egyptian 'management' companies. I hope you can appreciate that me saying AJ lies and BBC has been bought and paid for, and you replying with articles from AJ and BBC to refute this, isn’t going to move the needle much.
Let me know when AJ and BBC start criticizing or putting pressure on Qatar and Hamas, including Hamas practice of stealing and withholding aid and torturing and murdering Gazan dissenters. I won’t be holding my breath.

What is the actual vision in forcing a detente, allowing aid and weapons to come flowing back in to Hamas so they reconsolidate power, and declaring a Palestinian state?
Israel, Jordan and Egypt aren’t going to open the borders to a Hamas controlled Palestinian state. And the day the fighting stops the clock starts on it resuming again. What is even the point?

Hamas suspended elections, have ruled dictatorially for 20 years and persistently broke ceasefires including on Oct 07. Basically they FAFOE'd. There is always going to be a resistance to the crimes against humanity perpetuated by Israel. I don't even know how to classify the position "stop resisting our ethnic cleansing of you because that's making us ethnic cleanse you harder". Is it evil lunacy? Is it rabid barbarism? I think when these type of things were done in the past they weren't accompanied by Israel's twisted cynical messaging.
