English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
realized last night that kane would have won a trophy either way, wattba
He consistently fails the eye test, but it would be hard to improve on his output.
on't see us being anywhere near top 4 challengers obvs without adding like 4-5 starters, but even the addition of 2 actually good CMs would make a huge difference.
Yeah, a 6 and 8 that fit Ange's system would be a huge improvement. I'd be happy if we spent all our money there, as our attacking output is close enough for top 4, with maybe one quality addition
Well I'm happy if Spurs keep him as a constant RW option. Maybe he has contributions that I'm not aware of.
Truth be told a lot of Spurs I've watched this season was after you lot stopped trying.
Also not much attacking happened after grabbing the goal in the final.
Anyways I think Spurs will finish above Utd next season unless Levy decides that the teen titans are enough to carry the squad and inevitable injuries happen.
I am pretty certain I have seen a team with a positive GD get relegated once, although that might not have been in the PL

"Manchester City completed an awesome double in 1937-38," says Ian Kay. "Not only did they become the only team ever to be relegated with a positive goal difference, they also became the only team ever to be relegated the year after being champions. As if that wasn't enough, they went down after falling five places on the last day of the season - and despite being top scorers in the whole division."
At least they're not alone. "Sheffield United had a goal difference of +2 when they were relegated from the old Third Division in 1981"
Manchester United have told some staff working at their Carrington training ground that they will lose their jobs in the second round of redundancies since Sir Jim Ratcliffe bought into the club last year.
More delight for Utd regulars. McTom has just scored an overhead kick to potentially win serie A for Napoli.
Oh and it appears Wirtz might be on for us.
Forest have banned GNev from the stadium so he can't commentate on the game on Sunday hahahaha good on them
Everyone's so solid when they leave united. Imagine Bruno Fernandes if he leaves UTD
Pleased for McTominay
In London. Expect radio silence because internet at Wembley is ****. This time tomorrow I'm going to be twatted, hopefully the happy kind
Jesus, I just saw the McTom goal. Instincts in the box look like Cavani ffs. United had this guy deep in mf.
In before he demands 150m and leaves the team in a toxic rage, but Conte is an absolute hell of a coach.
That is not a high bar to jump....said the Arse fan where the top scorer is Havertz who missed half of the season.
At this point I'm convinced the culture is utterly ****ed there.
Don't know how else we can explain players being good before and after Utd.
I'm sure Sir Ratface does not help with his wage cutting and staff firing pranks
This is relevant because of 2 things:
Sir McTominay player of the season + Sir Rathill firing 200 staff members. That will bring up the points tally.
Man Utd prepared to take 'serious financial hit' on Rasmus HΓΈjlund
Inter Milan, Juventus, and Napoli are set to battle for the signature of Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer
manu are poison, he's still only 22, this will probably be the next blunder. at this rate he'll be 2006-09 serie a mvp
I didnβt know this was a thing, but apparently heβs won Serie A MVP. Good for the lad.
Wtf is actually wrong with United?
McTominayβs best position is as a running 10 thatβs late in the box. This is a system that Conte loves to use and itβs perfectly suited for him. Bruno also played 10 for most of McTβs time with United and McT isnβt starting over Bruno. Also, McT wanted to leave and Iβm quite happy for him to see success. Unlike a bunch of other ****s, McT put his heart on his sleeve and actually cared about playing for United.
Also, the Glazers have enabled an extremely toxic environment to happen for a long time. Ratcliffe is now getting a lot of (deserved) blame, but it all starts at the top with the guys that did a hostile takeover of United that canβt be done anymore (yea, they changed the rules on this).

How many out and out wingers playing in the top 5 leagues have 18 goals this year? Would wager it's less than 20, probably less than 15 or 12.
Is he Saka? Obviously not. Is he good enough to he an every week starter for a team with top 6-8 aspirations? Maybe not, he lacks confidence to take players on and crossing is meh. But he is clearly a premier league squad level player.
We have Odobert and Moore as young wingers also. Where we are absolutely dying for additions is in CM most of all.
Heβs been downright **** this year, zero doubt. But, his strike rate last year was very good. Personally, I donβt want to see United give up on him yet. I do think thereβs a real player there (I could well be wrong) and he needs to take a few weeks off after tomorrow, come back super hungry, and gtfo to work this summer with Amorim.
United also badly need some sort of better striker. Thereβs no Zlatan out there to do it, but Iβm pro-Jonathan David on a free or Patrick Shick. Neither are sexy, but United is decidedly un-sexy atm
