2025 WSOP!!
I know itβs early and normally Iβm not excited about WSOP this soon after but dang it, Iβm itching to go back already!
I
I'm here, boys!
In line for the app ID verification. About 40-50 people deep and moving at a snails pace. I thought this part was supposed to be quick and easy..guess not.
Great !!
How did it go ? I am playing on 31st .Reaching there on 30th afternoon.
Should I do verification first or go to room and settle down and come back for verification ?
thx
Alright, so to answer a few questions. It took me almost two hours to verify and the line is even longer now. This is the one-time ID verification to use the WSOP+ app. And this was just ID. If you plan on using a credit card, youβll need that verified, too, but they donβt start that until tomorrow.
This process was at the Paris cashier and they had only three people working it. Tomorrow, they say theyβll have a lot more staff working it over in the actual WSOP area.
So although the line is currently long and slow, in theory, it should go faster tomorrow with more people working.
But again, a lot of people have shown up without the app and without an account so itβs slowing everything down. Not to mention some of the less tech savvy people and people who have language barriers.

What time were you there? I'm debating doing it tomorrow at 1ish or late night (if they are even open late for that)
Yeah I've been trying to find out what time they are open until at night for ID and credit card validation, hoping it is pretty late.
I get there Friday the 6th, flight lands at 10:30 p.m., playing the Colossus the next morning. Hoping to head over to the verification area around midnight.
If anyone is there for verification in the next few days it would be greatly appreciated if someone could ask them how late they are open until each night.

22.5hrs a day starting tomorrow (only closed 5-630am), per Kevmath: https://x.com/Kevmath/status/19271949401...
Like registering in years past, guessing late nights will be the move.

Unlike some of the people in this thread (I suspect you) I actually live in the US. There is no major store passing CC fee to their customer. If the one weird gas station ran by people that are essentially money laundering drug trafficking charges you a 3% fee doesn't mean "plenty of stores" now pass CC fees to their customers.
Yes, I live in the U.S., and, yes, plenty of stores pass the CC fee onto customers. You must be extremely lucky to live in an area that doesn't. Heck, even my vet started doing it.

Your vet is confirmed money laundering drug trafficking.

Those free doggie biscuits they have on the counter have to be paid for somehow.
Question for those that have gone through verification - Do they have Seven Stars and Diamond lines for verification? And do they accept cash to load the account?

There wasn't a Seven Stars/Diamond line when verification was at the Paris cashier before today.
Kevmath responded "doubtful" yesterday when asked about that last night: https://x.com/Kevmath/status/19271997532...
There's a few dozen people in line now, and the Champagne room opens in an hour. I'll take a look when it opens to see what priority access options are available.

No special lines as of last night.
You can load cash but itβs a minimum of $2500. That said, if youβre just going to play some low buy-in events that cost less than $2500 total, you can buy-in straight to the tournament(s) via cash.
I registered via cash for both of the bracelet events Iβm going to play at the same time I got ID verified.
In line nowβ¦.hundreds deep. My brother is on his way so Iβm saving his spot in line. They open in a couple minutes. Hopefully it goes fast.

One person in Seven Stars line. About two dozen in Diamond with nine cashiers. Verification is being done in regular registration area as well as player services.
I do not see on the app, or just confused, what this step is Is this a one time thing every year I dont recall doing what you are doing last year when I pre-registered through the Bravo App What dont I understand
The Bravo App doesn't apply this year. You need to load the wsopplus app on your phone. You might want to make sure your paypal account is current. I bought my WSOP event 'ticket' using paypal, linked to my credit card. It seems like this process is very smart phone dependent so don't forget your phone charger either.
This concerns me. My flight arrives 9:30am to play Flight D of the mystery bounty. If I get there at 10am, I'm concerned the line for the first WSOP Saturday will be horrendous. I might take the earlier flight.
That is cutting it way too close IMHO. You won't even have your bag much before 10 am and then the hassle of grabbing transportation, verification etc. I always arrive the day before.

Has PayPal been successful for you without any fee?
If you want to load your account with cash, do you need to stand in a separate line to do this after verification?

Soβ¦I buy the ticket(register online) then when I get there I stand in line to verify my identity and get a seat assist?
Good advice here. And one that I also apply : arrive a day before gives you sufficient of time to buy some groceries (am staying for a few weeks and not just a single tournament), get my verification sorted out/enough money loaded for the first few tournaments, to make other purchases etc. Of course, I am also coming from far away, so taking a day to brush off the jet lag is also a thing.

You can register online but not all the way. You can buy a ticket online but canβt apply the ticket to register until after you stand in line and get verified.
And they said it will be like this every year. Youβll have to renew ID verification every WSOP
I put cash on my TA at the Paris cage this weekend, and the cashier said she was going to verify me, which included taking my ID and taking my picture. I assume this means I don't have to stand in line for verification? Did anyone else who loaded cash on their TA get verified early as well? Is there somewhere in the app that says whether or not we are officially verified?

Yes, you have completed the ID verification process. It also says "complete" when you go into the WSOP+ app and click on the 2025 WSOP(on the top of the page).

When they opened this morning, the registration line was doing both cash deposits and online verification. I assume they will continue to do both.
Can you deposit through an ACH deposit prior to getting verification? Thanks for the help. I have already down loaded and completed registration on the app.
