2025 World Series of Poker May 27th - July 16th
See my new note. Looks like they changed it back to all DB Bomb pots.
What is the difference between this wsop thread and the one in Tournament Events? Every year there are two, with similar traffic, and it makes no sense. Why split the discussion?
In line nowβ¦.hundreds deep. They open in a couple minutes. Hopefully it goes fast
I'm going tomorrow. But if the lines are as bad as I'm hearing, I wont play a single tournament, I'll just play cash games. I am not standing in line 2+ hours for anything, not even the main event. Hope they figure it out soon.

Itβs moving right now. Theyβre training some people on how to do it. Once all the employees are trained, theyβll have a few more working this. I think it will go faster as the series progresses.

heys mods, or supreme leaders of the realm, can we take care of this problem?
for anyone there, is the WSOP cash area still the same setup, like off the in the corner with kings lounge in middle back of main room?
Whiskey, it's weird but last night I looked after you said this and saw the new sheet where they changed it. Today I went to print it out and they have replaced it again with a new sheet that now says all PLO bomb pots (every hand) for the entire tourney.
Seriously??? WTF ??
But great of course, if that holds now :-)
Who said the registration things is going better???
Was just there, lines are insane, and not really moving … turned around, will try again late night or something
If you're staying at the hotel they should do verification for you when you check-in
Now just walked near front of online verification line to pay with PayPal.
good luck housenuts
Can one register for the future events or does it have to be for the same day tournament?
Lol I see what you meant
I thought you verified your account and then you could just pay with whatever you wanted
I mean its the first day, what'd you all expect?
I guess I need to read up on this app and id verification unless someone explained it in the thread? If so, can someone point me in that direction please? Thanks
I was in and out of registration in less than 10 minutes. My trick: go to the wsop.nv line to deposit money, they have to verify you first. No one else was even in the line.
I can easily see why the line was so long though. I already had the app installed, linked my caesar's reward card, and linked my credit card, but they still had to click buttons, scan my ID, take a picture of me, and get me to sign a form.
Someone told me that the cash line was 2+ hours long. There was nobody in the paypal line or the wsop.nv line.
The cash line is 'marked' by being extremely long.
There's lots of staff helpers there.
I was guided to the online verification line which was probably 45-55 mins.
After about 25 mins in line, a helper came and asked if anyone was paying with PayPal. I was. She guided me to a 4 person line.

So if I were to do what you did I would then be "verified" and could sign up for live tournaments with a CC through the app? I just saw a post from someone in the app that said they had been in the cash verification line for four hours and were still waiting.
I'm flying in late Thursday night, and I'm guessing the lines for verification and cash deposit will only get longer on Friday with it being the first weekend. I was planning on depositing some cash, but might just pay by card the first few days if it saves me from standing in line for hours?
Or maybe I should just skip the mystery millions, play something at another venue and wait until next week when things are running smoother to verify/deposit cash?
It's also still unclear (to me) whether they are currently charging any fees for registering through the app with a CC/ paypal? In the messages on the app a lot of people are saying WSOP is currently waiving the reported 3% CC fee, but others are saying you don't initially see the fee but it shows up a few days later on the backend.

My take is that this thread is more about following general happenings of the WSOP while the thread in events is more about logistics for people actually going/playing. This thread is where I would expect to see discussion about news stories and things like streaming schedules. The other thread is better for Q&A about on-site matters.
