Oh yeah, I build out a whole decision tree of options in advance, including options in the event I bust out early enough to late-reg other events. For this trip, the only real debate I had was between the events on 6/13, the other options are pretty locked in.[/QUOTE]
Okay then without a doubt $600/$75k guarantee at Orleans, 86 S-points since you qualify as a Senior. The field will undoubtedly be softer. With a max 1 hour time difference would be my wild azz guess.

Does anyone know if the Venetian has online registration options for the DeepStack series? I canβt seem to find any info on their site. Maybe itβs in person reg only?
I'm a Finnish poker player and YouTuber, and I'll be visiting Vegas from June 23 to July 4. I mainly plan to play these non-WSOP events.
From a vlogging perspective, itβs important for me to be able to record all-in situations when the cards are turned face up.
I saw from MGM's Executive Director of Poker's X account that filming is permitted, as long as I notify the shift manager upon arrival each day.
The poker room manager at the Orleans also confirmed that filming all-in situations should be fine when the cards are face up.
@BigJayPoker β could you confirm what the policy is at Golden Nugget?
Does anyone know the current filming policy at Resorts World?

At the Nugget you can record your all-in moment if all action is complete.

Looks like Southpoint is going to have a few events over the summer

Interesting. Is there a structure sheet posted anywhere?
For Golden Nuggets day 1 of the series, they fell about 7k short with an overlay on their 25 k guarantee($400 entry). I arrive Thursday. Wondering what to expect for their opening weekend $300 $150k guarantee series
WSOP Industry Event shows 913 entries on Poker News after Late Reg ended.
Down from 1189 last year.
Eight handed 5k and 1500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 start up tomorrow.
Last year the 5k got 660 entries and the 1500 Omaha 8 got 928.
Those 2 might give a glimpse if a drop off is coming.
Only level 2, but just 27 entries so far in Golden Nugget's $400, 40kGTD. Looks very likely another decent sized overlay could be in the works

Oh itβs a $250k guarantee. They might be in trouble. Iβll be there, though. And Iβll win it.
Yes but you wonβt get an opportunity to. Iβll back up the talk with my actions. Unless I just jinxed it.

Thanks.
Golden Nugget are making some changes to their series, likely due to the huge overlays so far:
Iβm really bummed for GN. The series is good and the price point is right in the sweet spot. I donβt know if itβs just the economy or what but I would think if that were the case, the lower buy-in tournaments would have more appeal.
Unless itβs just because of overall lower Vegas tourism. I know WSOP number are down 10-20% so far.
Venetian DS question
Its been awhile since i played a DS, but I was considering the Seniors 1 Day Saturday 6-14. Is the one day a hard and fast rule or do they have a cut off like midnite or 2 am and you come back?
I have played quite a lot there and have never heard of them stopping a 1 day tournament prior to concluding it.
The tournament will end when there's a chop or winner.
That's always been my understanding at least.
