Qassam and Saraya Al-Quds are capable of keeping the IDF from taking power over the strip, so I doubt Israeli-backed gangs with limited knowledge of the tunnel systems are going to be able to do anything. If anything, we will see Palestinian defectors running to the Israeli border begging for mercy before a civil war. Knowing the Netanyahu administration, they will probably gun
I am not talking about gangs. I am talking about the 2 million people. Hamas has been running them into the ground for 20 years. And is now shooting them in the back if they try to get food without their permission or paying their extortion fees.
The more Hamas gets desperate and cruel and malevolent, the more the masses are going to push back.
But as I said, the international community and UNRWA are on team Hamas. So if they are allowed back in they will prop Hamas back up, and rhe fascist dictatorship will be reenforced, and the people will continue to have no voice or agency.

You really need to start consuming media from both sides in order to get an accurate assessment of the situation.
The problem for the Palestinian cause, according to the Palestinians themselves, has always been that a) Israel has unlimited funding from the West and b) the vast majority of Westerners have no idea what the reality of the situation is. Everyone in Gaza is aware that the plan is to last as long as possible and tough it out in order to make sure that their plight never leaves the news cycle (they have satellite internet and smart phones so they have plenty of morale just by browsing the internet).
Granted, some Palestinians are tougher than others and some buy into it more than others, but you, being a Westerner who places a high value on standard of living and who (presumably) has never lived without dignity, dramatically underestimate how tough people can be with this as their motivator. Throw the religious worldview on top of this, and the utter disgust they would have at the idea of joining team Netanyahu, and your scenario is extremely unlikely.
You yourself call it a 'death cult.' Does that strike you as something where the tide will shift through incremental decreases in standard of living?
Curious.

There is a lot of daylight between joining team Netanyahu and supporting Hamas. Hamas have acquitted themselves very poorly in their 20 years of rule, especially the last 2 years. They are little more than a neighborhood gang being propped up by outside actors for their own motives.
It doesn't matter how sympathetic outside actors are to the Palestinian cause. As long as Hamas is around there is nothing to do. And no outside actor is going to be in any hurry to commit to redeveloping as long as these clowns are around mucking everything up.
And if you want to go down conspiracy road, you might wonder if this is what Netanyahu actually wants. To destroy Gaza, and severely weaken Hamas, but make sure they survive just enough to make sure Gaza has no hope.

Everyone in Palestine is aware that only Hamas (and Saraya Al-Quds) has the power to stop the IDF from occupying the strip. Everyone is aware that rebelling against them is doing what Netanyahu wants. Everyone is aware that any non-militant government will be a of puppet Israel. Everyone is aware of the decades it took to undo Israeli infiltration.
Again, I highly suggest looking into what the perspective of the Gazans actually is. Reducing it to a 'death cult' has not succeeded in giving you a nuanced view of the situation.
another day another aid massacre
also, another video of 2 kids getting drone bombed as they carried food.
Hamas have certainly upped their tech capability.

What planet are you on? Hamas starts wars and then hides in the ground while the IDF destroys as much of Gaza as the international community lets them get away with and herds the people around like cattle.
It is pathetic. There is no honor or dignity in this. The fact you are ok with it just shows how much of a white supremacist you are, as you would never be ok with the rulers of a “white” nation subjecting their people to such degradation.
I don't think Israel's (Netanyahu's) actual goal is to occupy Gaza or to get the hostages back. I think they are trying to basically foster a civil war where the Palestinian people overthrow Hamas themselves. And they might actually be close to that goal.
Hardly. The people on the ground may dislike Hamas and consider it a failure, but the Zionists are their ultimate ethnic enemies and oppressors, who seek their removal and erasure, and they won't do anything to oblige Netanyahu anytime soon.

Maybe Netanyahu is playing 4D chess and the Palestinians are playing tic-tac-toe and that was the plan all along. Would be a pretty big self own if the Palestinians decide to support Hamas after all of this, just to spite Netanyahu.
Did the creepy doom gobblin make it to the shores of Gaza yet?
Hezbollah was completely nullified with the literal click of a button and the current life span of a Hamas commander is less than 6 months. The “Israeli infiltration” wasn’t undone. There’s clearly people willingly working with them.
if Hezbollah was nullified then there would already be Israeli settlements throughout the South of Lebanon. Israel stole infinitely more land after the sham ceasefire than before.
and you probably dont want to look up the results of the recent few rounds of elections in Lebanon.
If you weren’t hateful of people trying to improve the world you might be able to form bonds with people in real life and not have to resort to spending so much of your free time with anonymous women online who only want your money.
Just a thought.
Hey corporal, the IDF are wondering what happened to you.

It would appear there are already armed gangs, many of whom undoubtedly ex-Hamas (and probably again Hamas if Hamas gets its acts together), operating on the ground.
Gaza rescuers say 37 killed in Israel attacks, as aid group reopens centres
Gaza's civil defence agency said Israeli attacks killed at least 37 people on Thursday, as a US-backed aid group reported it had resumed operations after a one-day hiatus.
The Israeli military has recently stepped up its campaign in Gaza in what it says is a renewed push to defeat Hamas, whose October 2023 attack sparked the war.
But Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva rejected the term "war" to describe the conflict in the devastated Palestinian territory, accusing Israel instead of carrying out "premeditated genocide".
"What is happening in Gaza is not a war. It's a genocide being carried out by a highly prepared army against women and children," said Brazil's Lula, who has previously used the legal term to describe the conflict.
"It's no longer possible to accept," he added.
another day, another #WitkoffMassacre.
starving people for months on end and then offering them food only to gun them down is some next level evil. honestly cant think of anything like this.
Dead Gazans makes Victor happy. Remember that resistance by any means necessary includes creating martyrs for the cause.
Israel accused of arming Palestinian gan...
Netanyahu says Israel has ‘activated’ so...
IDF arming criminal gangs and virtually admitting it.
