Reading the follow-up comments, I see a lot of people moving the goal posts. The question was what vlogger is making millions, implying making millions from vlogging. No, no one is making seven figures annually from vlogging.

Not from poker vlogging specifically. Vegas Matt would be easily clearing 7 figures just from his YouTube channel.

I always took Steve’s posts to be a bit, similar to bragging quips in Rice videos (I’m the greatest driver) or Trooper’s various vlog feuds. I do feel Trooper 64/97 has true animosity toward others, and has been miserable prior to candyland and post returning to poker playing / schlepping back to the Strip to vlog. His constant bitching the past 2-3 years goes beyond trying to spark/sustain interest in his stagnant vlog, and turned him from someone to root for into a self created villain.

That is fair, but i think all of the major vloggers basically arent in poker without their vlog. Brad Owen plays in all these big games and owns part of the lodge, does these big meet ups, i would say 100% of that money comes as a result of his vlog, so i would consider that making it from his vlog, maybe he isnt paid by youtube that amount of money, but lets be real, hes a 2-5 reg who parlayed his fame into things, he is and would never make it playing poker. Same with Rampage who i also imagine is a millionaire, helps to run illegal gambling websites of course. Neeme was the most successful poker player, he was a 2-5 / 5-10 grinder, prob had a 50k net worth. All of these guys are killing it now, because of the fame they gained through their vlogs, and without it, they were all essentially broke and playing small stakes, except for neeme somewhat, but live 5-10 reg is hardly "making it" level.

Those three i think have all made a million dollars because of their vlogs, without their vlogs, theres basically a 0% chance theyd ever make a million dollars in gambling, which is pretty hard to do, especially as low stakes live players.

Even like negreanu, he makes his living and has for a long time from sponsorships, not from playing poker, his vlog is a part of him staying relevant

I’ll trust Rice’s actual reported results, which is likely in the $500-$700 / range this year at this point, due to significantly building his subscriber and viewer base after chronicling his 2024 WSOP dealing experience.

2024: Started off with lowest revenue month at $202 in January. His best was in the heart of his WSOP Orleans dealing stretch (August 2024 $867).

Rice stated he was earning under $200 /month at the start of his monetization in 2023.

Credit to Trooper, she is kind of out of his league. She has a great smile and is paying the bills likely…

But Brad was actually willing to commit to a 4 year degree and do the work every day to get it. And has continuously worked hard and invested in himself to get better at everything he does to move up in life - bigger stakes, sponsorships, ownership in a poker room, etc.

Tim has only shown enough consistency to play a couple hours a day on weekdays and in the worst game in Vegas on Thursdays just to vacuum up the rake. And publish a bunch of garbage videos that are effectively the same out of touch ideas with only slightly different B roll shots in order to have long enough videos for monetization. And blames everyone else but himself for his shortcomings and failures.

Because nothing can ever be HIS fault.

Here is an interesting thought....

WHO would you rather be? Trooper or El Diesel?

While you might not want to be either, I don't think the answer is even close.

I would rather be Trooper.

Trooper LIVES in a condo/apartment. He shares the bathroom with only 1 other person. He knows where he is going to be sleeping tomorrow night, and even next week. Troopers home is reasonably nice, by any measurement. Compare that to the flop houses that El Diesel frequents. Trooper owns NUMEROUS pieces of fruit, meat & snacks. Pocket bread? that doesn't even the Trooper's consciousness.

Set that aside, Trooper has what appears to be a "life partner". Opinions vary on Lady Trooper, but come on! Have the people that criticize her or "pooh pooh" her ever been to a store called Wal-Mart? Compared to the average Wal-Mart shopper, LT is smoking hot!

She is not a model OR a rocket surgeon, but she is undoubtedly better looking than at least 85% of women her age. She appears to keep a nice house, she can cook too. She appears to be pleasant to be around. Overall, she is a nice woman, and well above average in most areas. I would argue that Trooper knocked it out of the park with her.

I would argue that Trooper is several leagues above El Diesel.

New income stream for Trooper could be to auction of a month of living with Ladytrooper then during this time Trooper will have to survive as a Nomad on the strip and vlog his Nomadic comps and tier points and room changes.

Accurate summary of Trooper’s lazy GroundHog Day approach to his vlogging efforts day after day. It’s the same recycled garbage formula everytime that always ends with “Remember if you like my videos… hit the thumbs up button, make sure you subscribe, tell your friends about the videos, and leave a comment down below.”

The first video with any Trooper content (got deleted) that Depaulo made a couple weeks ago eloquently stated it’s actually impressive that despite hundreds of videos made by Trooper over last few years resulted in zero new subscribers. It’s just as bewildering as him being stuck at the same stakes for a decade without any signs of improvement.

Trooper seems angry and miserable. El diesel seems content and reasonably happy for some reason. I choose content and reasonably happy but without the pocket bread.
