Six claimed killed today, when the IDF fired 'warning shots' (into the crowd, apparently, which is not how you're supposed to do that) because they thought people were approaching the aid collection point in a threatening manner. You do wonder if the IDF are the best people to supervise aid distribution.
They are doing a great job. The people are getting the food they are supposed to get. Hamas used to steal it and sell it at a ridiculous cost to make money for weapons.

Basically everything I post in this thread comes from a verified news source or is common knowledge/general history. I don’t get my opinions from talking heads on Twitter like you guys.

You surely have been less supportive of it than viktor, but if you don't allow any action by Israel to try to eradicate it, it's very close to supporting it.
What would you allow Israel to do to eliminate all anti-Israel terrorist groups among palestinians? do you agree with the general notion that Israel can use violence to try to eradicate them, or the whole concept of defending against them is immoral for you?

I don't support attacks on civilians outside war (when everyone accepts it apparently) but when one side is denied the statehood that would allow them to declare war they've been boxed into a corner of impotence (which is the whole point).
I'd be fine if Hamas were able to launch a rocket strike on the Likud or its members, and with attacks on the IDF. Meanwhile Israel has been bombing and shooting civilians for decades and no one complains.

There's no sign that Begin or Shamir actually said it either. They tended to regard 'terror' as a thing that only Arabs did, despite being out-and-out terrorists themselves. The quote has no provenance going back more than a few years and seems to be recently made-up, as such meme-quotes sometimes are.

Open borders between both states and let’s see who settles where is a nice idea.
I think Britain should volunteer to institute such an open border policy for 20 years. Then at the end of 20 years we can see how this natural experiment has gone, and the rest of the world can decide if they want to follow suit or not.
