Concur with notion that non WSOP schedules don’t need to be out early.

No shortage of options, book a trip and play what’s available when you get here.

Where I can find the updated Nugget's schedule for this Summer?

Some time ago they shared a link at X, but that's not working. Can't find anything on Nugget's website.

Either one (or both) of the links below have wrong information, as they are different from each other.

Updated one should be put out today sometime.

Anybody have a link to the MGM structures? The links I came across from this thread seem to no longer work.

Anyone played any of their events?? How is turn out?

MGM structures and schedule are on their site:

I played some MGM Omaha events - decent turnout for those (albeit nothing like the size of the ones at The Wynn)

How are the turnouts for non-wsop events compared to last year? Are we seeing things trending up or flat, or down?

Has someone done an analysis, charts, etc.?

I’m going to say without data (just from being around and playing different properties), no series is probably significantly up in terms of runners this year. Some are down and some are flat. Obv wsop and app stuff left some meat on the bone. GN and MGM are down, I would imagine V, Wynn, Aria are flat or slightly positive. Orleans should be flat (probably up in mix games) because it seems the early GN business went to play there.

We will never really be able to measure live game drop, but judging by bravo alone, cash action volume is significantly higher (not sure if stakes are significantly higher).

I played in the $600 Orleans Seniors tournament yesterday (Jun 13) and they announced it was a record turnout for that event.

I played in the $600 Orleans Seniors tournament yesterday (Jun 13) and they announced it was a record turnout for that event.

I was there. It had a pretty good structure. We chopped when we were 5 left around 7AM (20 hours after the 11 AM starting time), and all of us were really tired. It was a pretty good tournament and well run by Orleans.

Where is the link to the updated golden nugget schedule? All can see is the old structure sheets when you google and old schedule when you scroll down their twitter from first release

Was supposed to be updated almost a week ago. I'll check when I go in tonight. At a minimum I'll upload it here myself if I have to

You should at least put a pinned tweet on twitter as the last updated one got deleted. When you google 2025 golden nugget, you still get the old structure sheets and guarantees. Lots of complaints about it today on fb and twitter just saying.

Most up-to-date schedule posted above.

Discussed with PokerAtlas in regards to removing old ones to avoid confusion.

Updated schedule should be getting posted to Twitter soon as well.

Hi

Thanks for posting

Will you run any satellites to the GOLDENAIRE event?

Congrats on your score! Well done. Yes, I thought it was an excellent tournament and well run.

Does the Wynn have any satellites for this weekends tournaments? I’ve never played there but have heard good things.

AFAIK all their satellites are clearly listed on their schedule:

The two big NL aren't guarantees anymore?

You may want to read what you just copied and posted. According to the flyer this weeks multi flight is a $600 buy in and has a $500 K guarantee , next weeks multi flight is a $1,200 buy in and has a $1 million dollar guarantee.

Expected prize pool. Look at the flyer again. No longer guaranteed.

Your right and I stand corrected. I apologize, I did not read the small print. I am not sure that I ever seen a flyer like that with the term "expected prize pool", particularly putting the $500, 000 or $1million in bold would suggest to the casual reader, just glancing at the flyer, that that is what the prize is. This really surprises me. The Nugget did not retain Kurt Dau who had run the summer tournament for the past 8 or so years and unfortunately this has had a negative impact on their summer tourney. The new director of poker, Joel Garcia, has struggled the last 3 tournaments he has run. This would include changing guarantees and even closing down for a few days in this years Winter Poker Open due to lack of participation.

Golden Nugget schedule is on their website here:

https://www.goldennugget.com/contentasse...

But doesn't mention prize pools being estimated...

So I want to address the winter portion of this...

Yes, what you're saying is true regarding canceling a few days. But frankly I give them kudos for trying something new. They noticed a hole in the schedule for mixed games and tried to offer something that nobody else was. It didn't work, but I don't knock the attempt.

As for the rest, I'm not sure if that's all totally fair. Joel was there when Kurt was there...so to seem to point all fingers at Joel isn't really fair. Sometimes things just miss.

This summer is a huge miss. Not just for us, but for many venues. I think the landscape of Vegas poker in the summer is changing for a LOT of people.

Do I agree with everything Joel has done here? No, not necessarily, but I trust his judgement and I'm along for the ride as long as they'll have me. None of us expected the downturn this summer to be as big as it was. But I can promise everyone that we'll be working diligently to right the ship next summer (and in the winter) and work to regain the trust we've lost this summer. I don't blame anyone for not trusting us when things are constantly changing, they shouldn't. I wouldn't. But I refuse to just sit here and cry about spoiled milk.

We whiffed hard this year, so I'm going out and buying a new bat and stepping up to the plate again next year with a different approach. I've got a LOT of notes and feedback to sift through to put out a good product next year. No more "same old Nugget". We're gonna fix our ****.
