I really like bang bar in Cosmo. Momofuko Street food. Decent price point.

I only ever stay at the cosmo because there are 10ish food options I really enjoy (bang def one). I can’t imagine there is a better spot in LV for food, and nice to be able to switch it up for dinners at Aria. Already excited to come for wsop and enjoy them all

I like the speakeasy’s too

hey i would happily pay ten bucks on dursty thursday if those fat limp brisket tacos even remotely achieved my definitions of 'average' and 'decent' mexican food.here 4fter your very first postmay i 4sk you now cr4bpl4ys your quick opinion 4bout the s4ls4 options 4nd 4bility for two t4co sl4w portions to c4use h4llucin4tion?or perh$ps you shellfishly forgot to $pply the ahift k

If you like cheap, tasty street tacos (meat, cilantro/onion/ salsa), you can go to Cardenas market on flamingo and buffalo. They have a $5 deal for 3 asada or chicken tacos plus a topo chico. I prefer the asada with green sauce. They have a red and green sauce. Lots of people like their agua fresco, which is in the jar. If it's in the jar, it's going to be good.

As for sauces, I didn't notice any sauces at BBQ Mexicana. I think I missed them.

Also, new account as I lost access to my old account. I actually went to a food meetup gobbo setup in I think 14 or 15 and we went to chada. I remember it was after Jay F ft'ed the main because Jimmy saw Jay as we were walked out and they chatted for a bit.

Checked out the new food hall at Venetian tonight. Nice space, plenty of tables, no long waits.

Wedge salad ($14) from Turkey and the Wolf - 7.5/10. The piece of lettuce they gave me wasn’t the best but pretty good overall. Bacon was great.

Chicken tender ($5 - medium spicy) from Howlin Rays - 10/10 incredible. Might be the best chicken tender I’ve had anywhere. Perfectly cooked, hot and crispy but not overbreaded. Huge size. Perfect spice level. Need to go back and try some other heat levels and the regular wings. Very highly recommend.

Repeat trip to Howlin Ray’s and BS Taqueria:

Chicken tenders 12/10, I have found chicken tender perfection. $15 for 3. Best fast food place ever? Probably.

Fries - 10/10 super crispy, good seasoning. $5

Steak tacos - 8.5/10, 2 for $9 pretty reasonable.

I have now eaten at Howlin Ray’s 3 days in a row, it’s that good. The wings are even better than the tenders.

Scarr’s pizza is pretty solid, 8.2/10. Nice kick to the slice I got.

Venetian food hall is off to a great start.

Best Friends at Park MGM. Only tried the Uni fried rice but holy **** it’s good! Perfect size as well if you are not super hungry.

Nice hit to start things off!

Uni as in sushi uni? AKA sea urchin? Not my fav, but an ex-gf used to go gaga over it.

Looking forward to more!

Yes, the stuff in the bowl mixed with rice is actually a decent chunk of uni, especially for the price. I love it and it’s very hard to get good uni from where I am from.

Al Antico still great, got the La Dante. 9.5/10 sandwich. $19

Japanese fried chicken from Ivan Ramen - 8/10, good sauce could be a bit more crispy. For $15 I’d rather get a few wings at Howlin Ray’s

It’s a margarita. Wasn’t too bad.

What kind of food is Malta known for? I'm imaging stuff with octopus and other sea critters?

caiparinhas are awesome. When traveling, I always try to figure out what the 'national drink' is, and have some of that. caiparinhas happened in Brazil, it was great.

It’s a lot of seafood but also a lot of unhealthy fried and greasy stuff, lots of pastries and pasta - the Italian and Sicilian influence I guess. Quite big percentage of the population similar to the US is obese.

I do the same. And I fully agree - it’s my fav drink period!

New specialty burger from Yukon is 10/10. Pizza always great as usual (one margherita, one marinara with pepperoni)

those both look lovely...

If I had Yukon down the street I’d be such a FPOS.

Lunch at Esther's Kitchen on a Monday a little after 12noon.

Me and a friend show up without a reservation. No wait at the bar but 30 min wait for a normal table. We take 2 stools.

Our bartender Penelope was great. The two unpictured drinks, she created one of them (Kermits Lament), and both were great and potent. We started with a great charcuterie board (3 pictures) and an awesome value at 32 bucks. Our two dishes radiatore and rigatoni (unpictured) were high quality, and perfectly balanced of tangy and earthy. We finished with a great bruleed cheesecake with cooked rhubarb which took away most of the bitterness but enough to balance the sweet silky smooth cheesecake and crumbled white chocolate.

Along with some cappuccino and double espesso, our awesome bartender also gave us a complimentary amari tasting, which was nice and nice (I'm not an expert at all on this one).

Price wise, we splurged for a casual lunch, but we were overstuffed and had no regrets to anything. We will return for the charcuterie board and the service.

I still need to try Esther’s…

I'm drooling over the strawberry rhubarb?? Cheesecake

I wish I took a pic of the dessert menu. Our server said everything is seasonal, so it'll change anyways. I found this as part of a menu pic 4 months ago, and looks right.

Ate at sadelles in bellagio the last two mornings to use up some comp dollars earned while playing poker. Went with the signature breakfast which has options.

First morning chose the salmon benedict, included was coffee, sticky bun, and side of fruit (not properly explained on menu). I added the $11 avocado which is not worth the price but I had to get close to $50. Great benedict and the sticky bun was a highlight as it was crispy and flaky good.

Second morning had $42 to spend, and chose the smoked salmon, which came in the tower form with a bagel and cream cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers with capers and dill, and the thinly sliced lox at the top. Included was coffee and side of fruit again. Everything was super fresh and flavorful.

It is not a cheap breakfast for sure, but if you have comps or even if not, you get a lot.

I have found perhaps the best Thai spot in Vegas. If not the best it’s somewhere in the top 3.

Jipata is owned by the same owner/chef as Chada Thai, Lamaii, etc. Some unique dishes that you don’t see at other Thai places. Insane value for the money. Great wine and beer list (what other Thai place has Cantillon beers?). And open until 2AM.

Everything was $12-28 a dish, super cheap for the quality. 8 dishes cost is $141 plus tip.

Northern larb - 9.5/10, the chicharrones are hot and fresh too
Nam kao tod - 10/10, probably the best version of this that I’ve had
Crying tiger tacos - 9.5/10
Smoked brisket kung pai - 10/10, super unique and ridiculously great dish. The brisket has that Texas BBQ smokiness to it and the sauce is amazing.
Shrimp lettuce cups - 8.5/10
Papaya salad - 9/10

(Not pictured) - pad see ew 10/10

This thread delivers more quality posts than ANY other on 2+2. I have about 10 days coming up in Las Vegas, so I think I'm set.....

Thanks to all.

Love a Larb Salad, and with chicharrons sounds amazing
