I mean, anything is possible but I think you're deep in the sweet summer child dept here. The avg viewer doesn't understand and cant comprehend the vitrail between these two. It's rooted in decades of religion and ideology + you have bibi and Ali, two of the most decrepit, selfish, sociopathic pieces of **** currently alive ****ing it up for far more people then they should e

Both will perish.

Sadly that doesn't make the world close to perfect. We have to deal with the world as it is. You may be confusing the only game in town with some sort of likelyhood.

In a better, still very far from perfect world, neither would have been in power in the first place. That's the thing that really matters.

go cry emo kid, you are at the bottom of the list of most censored posters

it may be the case that you are unable to idenifty your antisemitism, we all have blind spots after all. you should be grateful to me and the other posters who have recognised this weakness in you and brought it to your attention

I’d like to think that one day you’ll grow up and look more dispassionately at world events instead of only through your own warped lens of good guys and bad guys.

But alas it’s probably a pipe dream. Better stick to the fat moron bloke in pub football bantz you’ve almost copied to a tee, rather than apply it to international politics that requires at least some degree of nuance and impartiality.

Unfortuantely we are seeing and I fully expect will see far more of a rise in antisemitism.

The very loose way accusations of antisemitism have been chucked around is going to make it much easier for that to become actions. The worse will be shielded by the barrage of silly accusation.

That’s right. Perpetually crying “ Antisemitism!” at every criticism of Israel only helps the part of the far right that really is antisemitic.

Boy who cries wolf will regret it.

you are entitled to your view. i continue to believe that anyone hoping for the destruction of the state of israel and the forced deportation and/or extermination of its inhabitants is an antisemite

by BOIDS m

does being forcibly expelled and/or exterminated at regular intervals for c.2000 years fall under the definition of being fired from a job

no it doesnt. you dont hear about Carthaginians whining about **** from 2k years ago.

And there we were, thinking we heard numerous voices calling for the destruction of Gaza and the forced deportation and/or extermination of Palestinians, supported by you. Silly us!

in which year did antisemitism end?

Unfortunately antisemitism will never end if you continue to describe criticism of Israel in that way.

It gets to the point that people dismiss it, get driven into the welcoming arms of the far right/etc. Worse of all more start to openly identify with it.

I've made a similar point before once ot twice

by BOIDS m

I dunno, ask the Germans.

i dont trust germans

it should be treated the same way as anti-white racism or the bullshit genocide in South Africa of white people.

at this point anyone talking about antisemitism is almost always trying to justify the mass murder of children in Palestine.

this seems anti-Germanic

sure i get the point, i think anyone who uses accusations of antisemism in this way is cynical and wrong to do so, and that it goes on a lot.

i'm not claiming that criticism of israel is inherently antisemitic. take someone like bill haywood who has been very critical of israel and is cartoonishly wrong about almost everything. i dont claim he is an antisemite. he doesn't give off that vibe

on the other side of the ledger we have stuff like this:

by Victor m

antisemitism is not a real thing. Jews are not discriminated against. its just a cover for White Empire to do mass murder for profit.

Unfortunately antisemitism will never end if you continue to describe criticism of Israel in that way.

still waiting for a single instance of a Jew being discriminated against in the USA or the West.

by Victor m

no it doesnt. you dont hear about Carthaginians whining about **** from 2k years ago.

Wait a second, what's the time frame after which grievances lose their value and moral justification? asking for native friends talking about "stolen land"

Does targeted assassination because you are a Jew count as discrimination?

depends how long you keep them in a concentration camp I guess

Does France count as the west?

From March 11 to 19, 2012, Mohammed Merah, a French man of Algerian descent born in Toulouse, committed the Toulouse and Montauban shootings, a series of three attacks against French soldiers and civilians in Toulouse and Montauban, in the Midi-Pyrénees region. The last day he attacked a Jewish day school in Toulouse, killing a teacher, Yonatan Sandler and three children (aged 8, 5 & 3), and wounding a teenager. He killed a total of three French Muslim soldiers in Toulouse and Montauban, and seriously wounded a fourth.[29] During the 30-hour police siege at his apartment on March 22, Merah wounded three police men before he was killed by a police sniper.

Does attacking kosher shops, jewish schools, synagogues, and people wearing kippahs count as discrimination?

uring the January 2015 Île-de-France attacks, the Porte de Vincennes siege involved a gunman taking hostages at a Kosher supermarket. In the aftermath of the attacks, the French government increased the presence of soldiers outside prominent Jewish buildings.[34]

In the February 2015 Nice stabbing attack soldiers guarding a Jewish community center in Nice were attacked by an Islamist supporter of ISIL wielding a knife.[35]

On 24 October 2015, three Jewish men outside a synagogue in Marseille were stabbed by a man shouting anti-Jewish slogans. One of the victims sustained serious abdominal wounds; he was expected to survive. The assailant was apprehended.[36]

On 18 November 2015 a teacher in Marseille walking on the street was stabbed by three men who shouted anti-Jewish slogans; one of the men wore an ISIS T-shirt. The three men, riding two scooters, had approached the teacher and stabbed him in the arm and in the leg. They fled when a car approached.[37][38][39]

On January 12, 2016, Benjamin Amsellem, a teacher, was attacked by a teenage boy wielding a machete outside a Jewish school in Marseille. The attacker claimed to be acting in the name of ISIS.[40] Amsellem resisted by parrying some of the machete blows with the large, leather-bound Bible he was carrying.[22] The attacker was a Kurdish Muslim whose family emigrated to France from Turkey. An excellent student from a stable, pious home, he is said by French authorities to have self-radicalized by spending long hours reading Islamist websites.[22]

On August 18, 2016, a "confirmed anti-semite"[41][42] shouted "allahu akbar"[43] (Takbir), as he attacked a 62-year-old Jew wearing a kippah on avenue des Vosges in Strasbourg. The attacker had previously stabbed another Jew in 2010 in Kléber square. The French Minister of the Interior, Bernard Cazeneuve, called the rabbi of Strasbourg to express his "solidarity". The attacker was said to have mental problems.[44] The attacker was charged the following day with "attempted murder based on the victim's appearance belonging to a race or religion."[45]

'Tehran will burn' if missiles do not stop - Israeli defence ministerpublished at 11:36
11:36

Israel's defence minister, Israel Katz, has said "Tehran will burn" if Iran continues to launch missiles.

In comments made during an assessment with military officials, Katz says: "The Iranian dictator is turning the citizens of Iran into hostages and creating a reality in which they, especially the residents of Tehran, will pay a heavy price for the criminal attack on Israeli civilians."
