The guy was identified because he called the police and told them he thought the killer was going to hurt himself because he got a text saying “I might be dead soon” or something like that. The witness allowed his name to be published and said that the guy crashed with him all the time. So “roommate” isn’t the most accurate term.
It’s definitely a real person, not a liberal media conspiracy ghost.
