You should then be able to extrapolate that using gay muslims as pawns from the other side is almost equally as ridiculous as Victors arguement. but nope.
Pointing out victor's dishonesty when he mentions what Israel are doing to "homosexuals" as he calls them, isn't using Gay Muslims as pawns and I'm not even on about Gay Muslims. Iran has a large Christian, Jewish and Zoroastrian population also and presumably some of those demographics are Gay. You're the one who seems fixated on Gay Muslims, I was referring to Iranian Gays in general being oppressed.
And you haven't answered my questions
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showp...
Are you going to or not?
You seem sort of indifferent to the suffering of Muslims in Gaza in general, idk why you expect us to think you're concerned about Muslims who happen to be gay.
In the same vein, your complete indifference to the horrible, intolerant behavior of Islamist right wing theocracies and their sycophants in this forum makes one question whether you even have any first principle liberal values at all.
When you always find yourself stanning for the most homophobic, mysogynist, intolerant, racist people who exist in the world today; one would think this would cause a little bit of self reflection if one actually had any first principles.
But clearly this does not apply to you.

Muslims in Gaza are largely suffering because their elected a government of radical Islamist terrorists and people like you who think endlessly fighting for a strip of land is more worthwhile than creating a functioning society. Sometimes you have to face reality.

In fairness Hamas was initially elected to share government 20 years ago, achieved full control through a violent coupe, and have been ruling the territory as an autocratic, totalitarian theocracy since.
I blame the international community much more than the Palestinian people for propping these monsters up and letting them turn Gaza into a militarized war zone.
Unfortunately for leftist westerners like Trolly, their main concern is assuaging their own smug moral superiority. And supporting the avatar of the noble brown savage (at least in their perception) facilitates this.
And they are mostly indifferent to the real world tragedies of their self indulgent, narcissistic behavior.
Maybe supporting this guy is a mistake then?
Prior to the barbaric attacks, he had been a leading advocate of boosting the Islamist militant group in Gaza in a risky game of “divide-and-rule” — one that played the militants of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar off against the Palestine Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.
To this end, from the late 2010s to the early 2020s, he encouraged Qatar to channel hundreds of millions of dollars to Hamas, even telling a conference of Likud lawmakers in 2019 that “anyone who wants to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state needs to support strengthening Hamas.”
In fairness, the Israeli leader wasn’t alone in thinking Hamas could be exploited as a useful strategic asset, and that over time, the group would moderate and become more focused on governing their mini-state than on insurgency. Then, with Palestinians hopelessly divided between Hamas and the PLO, Israel could throw its hands up and insist it had no real negotiating partner, all while expanding settlements in the West Bank and avoiding any progress on a two-state solution.

why do you just post absurd lies that are easily proven wrong?

There should be more. I can certainly state that gay men are treated much better in Tel Aviv than they are in Iran. That is a problem that needs to be solved.
Of course ,your posts, corpus viles posts, and victors posts are all examples of people making posts in the I/P thread who dont care about gay muslims outside of political capital on this one issue. and it’s gross.
Tel Aviv is by far the most LGBTQ friendly city in the Middle East if not the world.

Agreed, the international community and useful idiots like Vic, Jal, and Trolly are much more detrimental to achieving peace than the actual Gazans, many of whom were born into the mess these people have fought to perpetuate.

Except it seems your preferred solution to "oppose" Bibi is to perpetuate his bad ideas. If we acknowledge supporting Hamas rule in Gaza was a mistake, how does sending aid through them so they can consolidate their position while putting zero pressure on them to change their behavior or even better abdicate control, the solution?

Not mine but thanks anyway.
Supporting netanyahu after he helped create this monster for his own political ends (and is doing it again) - if you still support him then maybe you are the useful idiot.
Chezlaw has been repeating the same sentiment over and over. There’s no nuance to his stance beyond “Bibi bad. Israel bad.” According to him the Israelis should let themselves be genocided because the alternative is the international community gets bothered.
He was the first poster I ignored because it was abundantly clear that he has no ability to process information. He’s literally been repeating the exact same thing for 100s of posts.
That's just a lie
I love how the pro Hamas posters can’t even own up to their own positions. Grow a spine.
If your entire purpose in this thread is to oppose the Israelis defending themselves then you’re pro Hamas. Own it.
