I could pretty easily be reconvinced on screen. A fence is probably more of a screen than a wall in most applications.

Disease and buck I would say are locks. I like mouth/head because that's the part that they stick into you. Vet>hospital, but both could work.

I don't like any of the non-bug related words really.

I don't like the face/mouth/head combo so much - feels we coulda gotten some kinda body part there and I think of them sticking to hair on animals/lower body

Still a pretty big fan of (ticking) heart

I don't like face either, but ticks literally bury their heads under your skin when they bite you. I think at least one of head/mouth should be good. Also pretty hard to avoid face if mouth and head are yours, so this seems like a pretty good clue for that combo imo.

Out of those 3 I'm ok with head, face/mouth like 2 weaker tiers down imo
