SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
M7 opens up the B clue for us. We really need them to figure out what V9 is.
Is your m7 like k4? If so, I’m on board and agree we should go from the left to open B5 if necessary. They can discern v9, I have confidence.
My m7 is not like k4. It gets there with the b5 that I like and that Ervin figured out.
Do you know what k4 is? Sort of like the other b5 and they should be able to deduce the v9(assuming yes since you knew it didn't have to do with the other B5)
It could work if they can decipher the other stuff but if it's a miss then we take another turn trying to open up B

I have a w6 that could be better as w4 or w5 but I think gets there?
Its the most prominent thing that does this so the most obvious example
its not so much a shadowfax as a tenuous but clear connection? if that makes sense

I know what the w4/w5 is but we probably won't be able to get to that letter on this word. A fine confirmer though, think it works better if they have the target in mind already

I think W4 is a coin flip and I could easily see them guessing either one of two possible answers.
M6/M7 is a thing, but M6 doesn't really make sense, where M7 is a much better clue. It fits nicely with B5, and I think they always get the answer in 2 tries, and sometimes they bink it in one.
Let's get this going. Ervin knows what B5 is, so I'm confident we get there in 2 tries at worst.

K4 = knee

First thoughts for options are
Train
Exercise
Gym and k4 is kids
Skeleton
Sculpt
Various body words
B5 bones and v9 vertebrae for skeleton but no k3 for key so not that
b5 could be build for build muscles
V9 vestigial but don’t see what that’d do for us
K4 could be keto and something diet or nutrition related
There is also muscles like “he muscled into the room” meaning
Not loving anything yet; gonna sleep on it
Not train
No Bullet or boxcar
Not skin for skin and bones bc no nudity and no wrinkles
No workout or weights/weightlifting which leads away from exercise, gym, etc as well as anything around build muscles combo with b5
No nutrition for those types of words or vitamins if it was nutrition

B5 is Bluto which is a stand in for the letter they wish they had which is P for Popeye
V9 is vegetable and k4 is kale
Spinach builds muscles in Popeye at least
Q6 could be spinach quiche
Wilt/wilts/wilted?
Pretty surprised they wouldn't just clue kale tho, since it's way safer and I'm not even sure what else we would guess?

Maybe worried we’d go lettuce or cabbage or something? But yeah, I think kale usually gets there also
