I can't speak for Gold but Global gives you around 2 months to get your money off when they leave a state so I would assume Gold will give you plenty of time if they leave

This is my take as well. Although I will say that I had been playing on Clubs Poker recently and they just made the decision to leave my state earlier this month. I was only given two weeks notice to stop playing and get my money off the site before my account was totally deactivated. I also only received one e-mail warning me about the change.
So if you are playing on ClubWPT Gold from a state that is banning Sweepstakes sites (NY, CT, etc) make sure you check your email (including spam folder) regularly. Probably don’t want to keep more money than necessary on the site too.
The bills trying to make sweeps games illegal in NY ended up not making it to a vote by the 6/12 deadline. So that is off the table until next year. The NY AG did send cease and desist letters to most or all the sweeps sites however. Which is probably why many left NY. Hopefully with the new legislation not being passed ClubWPT gold will continue to operate in NY and perhaps take it to court with the AG if needed. If they really think the sweeps stakes model is legal then they will eventually need to put it to the test.
Anyone else with more insight on this and the potential of ClubWPTgold hanging on in NY?

I posted the list a week ago in discord, Gold wasn't on the cease and desist list yet. I don't know if it's because they are new and not on the radar or because they have no casino. I guess we will have to wait and see. My bet is they will get a cease and desist soon. Whether they decide to fight it or not who knows. States want you to have a gambling license to run a gambling site in their state. I love Sweeps sites but I think we can all agree the model is an absolute joke. Anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming

Every site that has pulled out of my state has sent me an email. I received one last night from Stake.us (sweepstakes site) saying they are leaving my state and starting July 14th my account will be in redemption mode only. IMO ClubWptGold will give you time to get your money off the site

I'm getting the same message in New York on Windows 11. Can play on browser and phone but not the stand alone client.
If it's just the client, maybe manually let the app access your location via Windows setting? Maybe?

Fwiw, I also had immediate success upon initial sign up deposit whatever. I went 5 final tables with 1 win in the first month.
Then I got stone crushed for 3 months. I got highly suspicious (read my posts here ITT) and kept studying and grinding (although much lower) took a break and actually looked at the big picture of my game and I was leaking (still am) like crazy and overly gambling (tourneys too big or hand class is to weak for WE I was doing with it)
Then this month I have had 4 deep runs a 3rd place finish in the 22$ 20k and a win in the 40k PKO. (I ran hot as the fkn sun at the top 25 players or so)
poker is extremely volatile especially MTTs when stacks are forced in and nut hands often find out their pipped or flipping and it’s over.
Keep studying, play smaller, fold more this site a gold mine

Doesn’t work for a lot of ppl and buggy glitchy supposedly an update to fix geolocation issues late July would just wait to see if they actual make any fixes unless you want headaches everyday

This is my entire experience in this site. It's starting to get ungodly. Every run out is some poker movie ending where I'm in the losing end. I just got KK and AA cracked multiplaying MTT getting caked off with nonsense jamming preflop. It just impossible how many daily bad beats I take to knock me out of these tournaments. There is no way to get hand data so I have to either screen record or screen shot and it's painstakingly hard to relive this bullshit. I feel like I'm in some bad dream every time I get any top 3 hands preflop and get jammed on. I just know the 3 outer or running flush is coming. I've never run this bad being ahead preflop. It's nonsensical.
No they do not. But totally trust them to not manipulate anything. I’m very cautious of this site as of late.Also wonder if them being a sweepstakes site absolves them from gambling rules which force operators to have random outcomes
So did this mean that the outcomes on hands aren't randomly generated? How can you even report something when the hand dissappear when you aren't in the tournament anymore?

You mean here ? If they don’t give me money back il try get the hand histories, there’s no way of getting hand histories from clubwpt I don’t think but I’m sure they can send them if they want to
