I finally spoke to someone useful at uber who managed to get in touch with the driver but unfortunately no phone so going to have to make do with this **** one for rest of trip oh well lol, tried downloading WSOP app but I need a code from lost phone obviously but at least i'm already registered and verified I can just buy in and get my seat etc at the cage

I'm off to Venetian soon for the GazzyB meet up cash game, should be fun 😀

Have you considered the possibility of another Uber customer finding your phone and taking it to a Lost & Found department somewhere without telling the driver? Maybe a police station or the airport? Also, I assume you've already tried calling your own number (with someone else's phone)? And you're 100% certain you lost it during the ride?

Those are some serious bad beats. So sorry. Glad you are feeling better. Really hope you find the phone. I second looking other places -- maybe it fell out before you got in or on your run to the hotel from the Uber? Or in the loo? Check everywhere and with everyone!

I'll go to lost and found here and at Paris today and phone the local police station/airport but it's not the end of the world if I don't get it back nothing really important on it I can make do with this **** phone for rest of the trip. Not having the WSOP app is gonna be a pain though lol.

Yesterday's GazzyB meet up game was wild, I was lucky enough to be seated at one of the 3 tables he was playing at (sethypoker as well!)

Was a 2/3 game with $600 max buy in, I trebled up with 53hh on a 9642 two spade board, sethy had 64hh and other guy had K9ss, 2 brick rivers.

Think I got dealt AA 5 times total, won another 1.2k of the K9 guy with them when he had AK and KK brutal for him

Won a couple bomb pots as well, the game was crazy especially when either sethy or Gazzy were at the table we were playing 2/3/6/12/24/48/96 sometimes was great fun.

Went a bit card dead towards the end, once Gazzy left I ordered some food then cashed out afterwards for $3.6k profit lovely jubbly����

I got chicken tenders with blue cheese sauce appetizer and a steak, cheese and onion sandwich for $52, I just gave the guy 3 $25 chips I must have tipped dealers/waitress over $200 total lol

I got my mum to send all important emails etc to new email on this phone so it's all good, it was a **** Motorola with a cracked screen so needed a new one anyway 😀

No tournament today so just been chilling by the pool for a couple hours then went to get a chilli dog with cheese for lunch for $12, it was nice but super messy lol

I love chili cheese dogs. That said, ordering a chili cheese dog this soon after the food poisoning ordeal (or whatever it was) is a brave choice.

Came from Noah's (or Nosh still dunno what it is) next to horseshoe poker room and yeah but I am a risk taker 😃 i'm pretty sure it wasn't food poisoning anyway just over exertion with the heat etc

Played some 2/3 at Horseshoe, was a bit of a boring table first hour or so I was only person button/utg straddling until a few new folk joined, few hands:

MP raises 15, bb calls I defend straddle with K3hh

Flop AQ5 2 hearts, both bb and I call MP cbet

Turn Jh, check, check, MP bets small ish, bb shoves who has me covered and I fake tank for 60 seconds hoping to entice MP to call if off as well which he does

Blank river, both of them said they had a flush as well which is crazy if true

Then Iost a $200ish pot aipf with QQ v AA and I went card dead for a bit afterwards

Then just before I was about to leave for dinner I got AK no spade in straddle, utg raises 25 I 3bet 105, utg calls. Flop is AA3 2 spades, I cbet 50, he calls, turn 8s I c/c 150, river is another 8 and I c/c his shove he insta mucks

So a good end to session, in for 500 out for 1300, hope I can stack chips like this in the main!

Also a nice old man hit his very first royal flush after 60 years of playing so good on him, only won a small pot though didn't even qualify for the $100 high hand bonus lol

Oh I thought that at first then the more I looked at it the S looked more like an A lol

I got crab wontons for the appetizer which were nice, I love seafood and the sauce was amazing (can't remember what it was though lol)

Had the Teriyaki Trio for main which was chicken, beef and shrimp with veggies and rice, absolute delicious but just way too much food, could only eat half of it bloody Americans are crazy with their portion sizes

My dad got pork egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken, I tried both and they were nice as well, they defo don't make sweet n sour chicken like that in Scotland's Chinese takeaways lol.

2 appetizers and 2 mains with drinks came to $125 including tip.

Went back to Horseshoe and played some table games, lost around £400 but it's still another day in profit overall wahey!

Onto tomorrow where i'll be playing the $600 deepstack tourny, had to buy in at the cage since no app anymore but it was only a couple minutes wait so no biggie, let's just hope I don't have to re-enter :p

I think I've had four or five royals live in NLHE -- and of course a few online -- but it's been years since I've hit one! One I didn't show and found out later I would have won a high hand. Thank goodness it was only $150 or something. A friend just hit his first the other day and got $1, 500.

I won $400 for a Royal at MGM Grand a few summers ago. My only live royal so far. Highly recommended!

My live royal story is that I hit in hearts at a place with a Monte Carlo promotion. Hearts paid ~$13K.

I mean, if I wasn't playing in a tournament, that is.

For good measure, I hit quad 8s the next blind round to leave another several hundred on the table.
