THE BEAUTIFUL BUDGET
I don't think it's very beautiful, from what I've heard about it.
No need to increase the military budget, let alone a la
Democratic Socialist **** holes like ..... Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland.....
???
The wisdom of Bill Clinton has been proven right once again:
Democrats want to fall in love; Republicans just fall in line.
I had expected greater opposition in the house (by hardliners not by centrists).
RIP the deficit but at least ONE but government program that should never have existed to begin with at the federal level has been gutted a bit, a man can hope this is the start of a widespread reduction of entitlements later down the line.
And at least deportations now can happen for real en masse, at scale, as it's absolutely indispensable to have a chance for all the west. European countries can take inspiration from this morally necessary goal and do the same.
ya you don't want to go too far down the socialist spectrum. unfortunately that's the direction dems are heading. then you have whatever trump is heading far down the other spectrum. centrism is dead.
The direction we are going is unsustainable. We simply cannot continue to transfer higher and higher percentages of our wealth to the top 1%. It will not end nicely.

Is ICE going to find more grandmas to deport with this new budget?
sure keep doing the very tired thing of only focusing on what looks bad among thousands of fully deserved deportations.
it can work with low IQ people so I understand why you guys do it. but why here?
if someone was opposing welfare listing all the examples fo welfare fraud exclusively would it be a decent way to have a claim against welfare? because that's exactly what you do.
every single illegal which is left in the USA is a festering wound and a violation fo the supreme concept of the rule of law, which is indispensable for a country to survive and thrive.
there is NO compatibility with civility and any approach which is against enforcing the law to the fullest.
and deep inside you know it very well.
anyone who doesn't agree that every single illegal should be deported as long as that is what the law says is NOT compatible with civil society. btw democrats had a trifecta and didn't legalize that grandma status permanently, so it's on them as well.

So that’s a yes to finding more grandmas?
Also just to turn the low iq thing back on you, saying “dems had a trifecta” is a low iq comment for anyone who understands how the legislative branch actually works. you can’t pass immigration laws by reconciliation and removing the filibuster is a horrible idea

Trump doesn't even agree lol. You are deep in the minority on this one
yes we agree that Trump isn't the best flag carrier for the rule of law.
still on that exceptionally important topic (because demographics are upstream of everything else in society) he is better than the left.
demographics? I thought you said it didn’t have to do with demographics but following rule of law

the rule of law is important in general.
following the rule of law on crucial topics (demographics, property rights and so on) is even more important.
a society can survive a neglect in the enforcement of the rule of law at the margin in low-relevance topics. it can be toxic and it would be better if it didn't happen but it can be survived.
on crucial topics it's GG no re. the UK is already gone forever for example

I feel like I’m completely lost on what following the rule of law on demographics means. Can you walk me through that? Because for instance in the US it would mean not discriminating based on race (hence affirmative action in admissions recently being abolished). But what do you think a general picture of that looks like?

? only allow people the polity decided should be allowed in and remove everyone else.
that's especially true in a country with birthright citizenship.

Demographics is usually a dogwhistle for people of a certain race.*
*when said by the right wing
I don’t know what it is functionally doing when you say demographics rule of law. If you are just referring to the rule of law, that sounds like a tautology. So it seems like you have some implied meaning there.
