2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Drafters
Maye, Herbert, Shough
JT, Henderson, Najee, Benson, Shipley, Mitchell, Mitchell
CD, Worthy, Jameson, Diggs, Higgins, QJ, Nuk, Cooks
McBride, Henry
I need to start going Zero or more Hero more often if I'm taking an elite TE or QB.
Reek/Tee over JT or Jeudy/Meyers over Henderson and I think this team is much better.
I think that's a good balance of heavy QB but also being pretty balanced elsewhere. Jonnu as TE2 could be dicey, but no telling what that situation will actually look like, so it could work too. A lot of people are out on Deebo. I've been pretty into him. I think Kliff and that offense are about as good of a fit as Shanny was. I'm at 12% Deebo. Their RBs are mid, Terry is
Cliff tried to turn Rondale Moore into a Deebo in AZ. Now he has the real thing. Deebo is the clear number two in the pecking order. Daniels will open up a lot of space for him. I think he is a bargain going where he is in drafts.
Trying to pay more attention to my total ADP per lineup. You can see on this team, there was a lot more reaching for picks in the early rounds, whether it was for stacking or to create unique combos.
But I was able to make up for it in the later rounds by getting value on Dobbins, Blue, Rodgers, and Nailor.
Murray, Purdy, Rodgers
Gibbs, Bucky, Judkins, Dobbins, Blue, Giddens, Corum
MHJ, DK, Jennings, Pearsall, Kirk, Pierce, Reynolds, Nailor
Kincaid, Strange
First 1 qb in a while. A little drunk so ended up with too many w5 byes
Hurts, JJM, Ward
Jacobs, Warren, Tracy, Allgeier, Shipley, Hill
JJ, Jamo, Godwin, Golden, Burden, Keenan, Lockett
Bowers, Goedert
This felt good even with the w17 stacked QBs
1qb
Baker, Stroud, Tua
Achane, Brown, Kaleb, Najee, Shipley
Nabers, Evans, Waddle, Godwin, J Higgins, Kirk, Wicks
J Ferguson, Ertz, Waller
What is 1QB?
Regular best ball
Definitely the first time with this structure 3564
Fields, Herbert, Shough
Jacobs, Henderson, Monty, Brob, Braelon
CD, Ladd, Tet, Smith, Shaheed, Kirk
J Ferguson, Taylor, Juwan, Conklin
I think I prefer a WR over Conklin. That WR room could be good enough for 6, but you really need Shaheed and Kirk to excel. And I think Ferg, Taylor, Juwan is good enough for 3 TEs, especially with 2 being stacked.
I just did a 6 WR build of my own. I forgot I had Achane when I took Wright lol. But I don't hate having them together, especially with no other stacking partners for Tua. Not my favorite way to play Tua, but I didn't leave myself enough late stacking outs. It's one of the downsides to builds like this.
Spoiler
Caleb, Tua, Darnold
Achane, Pollard, Etienne, Wright, Dowdle, Monangai
Nico, JSN, DJM, Flowers, Jauan, Egbuka
Kraft, Loveland, Juwan
I also did this one where I started 3 RB. I think I caught up enough at WR.
Spoiler
Mahomes, Trevor
Saquon, JT, Jacobs, Tuten, Corum
Worthy, Hunter, Jeudy, Pearsall, Hollywood, Tillman, Bryant, Pierce
Kelce, Strange, Muth

I think you need some type of draft capital adjustment weighting for it to a meaningful exercise. +1 overall looks fine, until you look at the details of -32 in the first 10 rounds and +33 in the last 10 rounds.

Yeah went a little fps w Conklin, hopefully I get lucky haha
Your 6wr team is definitely stronger than mine haha
I like Pearsall on the 2nd team. I don’t normally draft him but he has the needed upside for that build
Really happy with this one
Kyler, Dak, Tua
Bucky, Monty, Mondre, Benson, Chubb, Sampson
CD, Jamo, Waddle, Jeudy, Pittman, M Wilson, NWI
McBride, J Ferguson
Allen, Darnold, Dimes
Walker, Mixon, Pollard, Najee, Tuten, Shipley
Nico, Btjr, Jsn, Mooney, Mims, Palmer, ADM
Andrews, Pitts
Both look good.
Yep. Obviously Tua team is much better tho.
Drafters - ADP +30
Purdy, TLaw
CMC, Cook, Judkins, ETN, Wright, Brooks, Kendre
BTJ, Hunter, Olave, Mooney, Burden, Bryant, Palmer, Royals
Kittle, Chig, Taylor
Drafters - Mahomes 10 past ADP, and Stroud (who I wasn't planning on playing) was 9 spots past ADP.
Lamar, Mahomes, Stroud
Cook, Kamara, Javonte, Benson, Dowdle, Keaton, James
Nico, Rice, Jeudy, Pearsall, Kirk, Pierce, Austin, Royals
Andrews, J. Ferguson
DK
Maye, Penix, Dimes (38 past ADP)
Harvey, Jones, ETN, Mondre, Shipley, Lloyd, Giddens
Puka, London, Adams, Waddle, Diggs, QJ, ADM
Kittle, Strange, Pitts (18 past ADP)
The chihuahua filled so fast! Only got 17 in
We need another puppy asap
The degens fiend so hard that they complain about no good contests available, then fill 70k entries in 3 days haha.
I'm guessing another puppy is on the horizon. The Puppy 2 was released 6/18 last year, but they overlapped it with the Puppy SF, which was 1/3rd the size of this year's contest.
The fast Puppy and slow Puppy were both dropped 7/12 last year. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what we get next.
I was able to squeeze in 2 more fast Chihuahuas last night. Two more 6 WR builds.
I was drunk and landed unstacked Dart at the end. I wanted 3 QBs on this build, but I did not execute it well. Aiyuk and Noel as my 5/6 WRs is also too thin. I definitely like team 2 more.
Spoiler
Purdy, Penix, Dart
Breece, Kyren, Mixon, Mondre, Sanders, Hunter
ARSB, London, Jauan, Darnell, Aiyuk, Noel
Kelce, Pitts, Ferg (14 picks)
I got Tracy 13 picks past, and I think it really helped the RB room. I think this is a really strong WR room for 6.
Spoiler
Caleb, Dak, Shough
Omarion, Mason, Tracy, Ekeler, Roschon, Neal
CD, Ladd, Tee, DJM, Olave, Deebo
Ferg, Gesicki, Juwan
That's definitely a really strong WR room.
