Your posting displays a lot of conservative values. You might need to reflect on that if you think you’re no longer a conservative.

lol, everyone is a hardcore right wing zealot as far as you are concerned - the only difference between you and victor is that victor is at least self aware

I am for classical music, old buildings, real art. Steaks and cheese and wine.

leftists brutality architecture and "modern art" and what passes for music for them is the killer. vegetarianism and veganism are embarassing, emasculating, dehumanizing.

I don't think I could ever trust a vegetarian man about anything.

You stand for the death of civilisation because you want culture preserved in aspic, and you reject cultural change.

Curiously your position is similar to that in post war “socialist” France, which was so in love with its own culture it sought to similarly preserve it, even going as far as the Academy meeting regularly to decide which words would be allowed in the French language. The result unsurprisingly has been decay and increasing irrelevance.

the median japanese take on immigration is far far far more restrictive than mine.I have issues with unfiltered immigration especially with birthright citizenship or with significant constitutionally mandated welfare state for residents. and especially if there is no draconian punishment of immigrants for violating social norms.I have also stated that my preferred model of immi

Now wait a minute - I thought I was the most draconian guy around, possibly even more than you, but punishment for violating social norms? I hope something was just lost in translation here, because I often violate social norms (and did even more when I was younger). Which social norms are you referring to?

by coordi

Luciom is a long time poster who mostly follows moderation that contributes as much or more content than anyone. That gives him a much longer leash than a random coming in to full blown nazi post out of nowhere

What we need to do to not get banned is be extremely prolific in our posting of death wish fascism.

Nope, I differentiate between a run of the mill conservative and a far right bigoted fantasist like you.

I don’t know how you define conservatism, so maybe by your definition I would be conservative. I just personally don’t know of a single country where I would support the major conservative party.

social norms = laws for social conduct in public. Like i want the death penalty for immigrant rapists, robbers and so on, no mercy at all.

So in germany you prefer the SPD (or the greens??) to the CDU?

Ok. I’ll try to remember to highlight an example of what I mean when I next see it. Should be interesting

To be clear one final time, I don’t want you or any other current poster banned.I was pointing out that there’s little distinction between your posted views and the views of the recently banned poster. Thinking you can finesse the Nazi comparisons by saying “I’m only supporting Nazi actions if they’ve been ratified by democratic elections” d

constitutions don't allow state discrimination by race so (and i wouldn't agree with changing them to allow that), not at all.

by Luciom

Yes I would very likely support SPD since I’m a social democrat, but I’m not an expert on German domestic politics.

OK, well I want the death penalty (or worse) for any rapists, immigrant or not.

But in general English usage, a "social norm" is something which is specifically not a law, but just something most people consider to be proper social behavior.

ah sorry "norma" in italian is "the content of a law" (like you pass a law and it has norms), in the context of legal speak

Right, you want apartheid laws with leniency for "native" criminals and extermination of immigrant criminals committing the same offences.

And because you have 18,000 posts of this horror show coordi's own forum apartheid laws give you special dispensation to be a fascist over and above a forum newcomer fascist who was exterminated from here.

It's not apartheid if they aren't citizens. I want a 2 tier society based on citizen status, and strict rules for access to citizenship. And it's not racially based at all so again, simply nothing to do with apartheid.

Like, you know, the romans had . The "Civis romanus sum" concept.

Right, so you want to deprive immigrants who work and pay tax of the right to vote?

Something else the Romans were keen on was slavery. Is that part of your ideal model?

by jalfrezi

I don't want to "deprive" them , they don't have it right now, what are you talking about? most countries don't give the right to vote to non-citizens RIGHT NOW, is that apartheid?

by jalfrezi

Instead of killing all the men like everyone did at the time every time when you conquer a tribe, in an agricultural society? yes slavery is a lot better than killing all the men (that's the only option in a malthusian setting, you don't have the food to feed them otherwise).

With industrialization and unprecedented material prosperity thanks to capitalism, and only because of that, we could get rid of slavery and we did. Morality depends on the technological, material conditions of a place. Bologna. my city, got rid of slavery in the 13th century because we were a city-state where the economy was already "non farm based" mostly, and that's the only reason you can abolish slavery in general. And you do because that increases material production and well being of normal people not because you actually care about the slaves.

If the per capita GDP worldwide was 500k, i would be ok with 50k in welfare for everyone in the world for example.

They have the right to vote if they are citizens. You want to deprive them of the right of ever attaining citizenship, thereby permanently denying them the right to vote.

by checkraisdraw

most intelligent conservatives are christian moral realists so ironically you are probably a lot closer to gorgo and uke than the average intelligent american christian. you pretty much only overlap in criminal justice and immigration tbh.

I know because I was a conservative in the past so I don’t automatically recoil at conservative values.

Most certainly true.

And the conservatives who are not Christians still generally believe in what are broadly called 'Judeo-Christian values.'

by Luciom

btw uke and gorgo love regulation, taxes, redistribution and so on. intelligent conservatives aren't radical like me about those topics but do agree the state should do less than it currently does.and then I am very pro natalism, and against all the trans issues nonsense, not like christian conservatives (I wouldn't ban adults doing what they want with their own body) but close

Of course, you're free to trust or not trust anyone for any reason you choose.

That said:

LOL!!!

There is no "right to attain citizenship" in general, what are you talking about?

No MAGA supporters practice actual Christian values. Jesus would not vote MAGA.

by Luciom

I’m not talking about human rights obviously. I’m talking about how people should and usually do have the right to attain citizenship after working or studying in a country for a period of time. In some countries they can buy their citizenship eg New Zealand,
