POGs 2025 WSOP Trip!
The other blogs have been a good read so thought why not do my own 😃
I've booked it all earlier today, 17 nights at the
Just back from Hell's Kitchen and omg best meal i've ever had was unbelievable
I got the grilled octopus for starter and New York strip for main and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, my dad got the scallops and beef Wellington which I tried a bit of and both were delicious
Came to $425 total including $70 tip, expensive as hell but it's our last night so might as well live it up lol

that does all look very good
Looks amazing. (Really pisses me off that they charge so much for water.)
agree with all the comments above.
Well now you have twice the problem!
Wow!!!
Hope you did it in a place you like, because you might be getting some awesome comp offers.
Hell yeah. Do it again!
Let it ride, win 21.2k!!
was that a 16 with dealer queen in the window?
what a rush if so, probably thought you lost for a split second
Nah, you gotta stay 16 against a 3.
can you tell i've successfully avoided enticement from the blackjack lady
Yeah was 16 v 3
At the airport now been waiting on some guy to come meet us so I can declare the money for about half an hour
All sorted, he only asked for ID and which hotel I stayed at and how much I had exactly ($18,153) then told me to take a photo of the form to show at Heathrow and that was it, worried about nothing lol
safe travels POG
it was fun reading about your trip, thank you for sharing it
now i'm wondering what things were like from your dads point of view
My dad loved it, he was up a couple grand the first week then lost it the 2nd week, he's more into the slots and roulette the 2 things I hardly play lol
Hopefully I can fall asleep on the flight, could only download 3 hours worth of YT videos on this **** phone before it said no more storage space
Great report. Well done on the wins! Hope traveling was safe and uneventful.
Thanks for taking us along on your trip. It was a lot of fun!
Thanks for the TR, POG.
I'm surprised at the cash declaration when leaving. I'd heard of declaring >$10K when entering a country, but never knew of any exit requirements (except India, which is a restricted currency. Non-Indians are not supposed to bring in, or remove, rupees.)
That's me home without my checked luggage because they left it in London ffs typical was a whole thing loads of people had same issues with their luggage in Heathrow
Nothing important in there anyway but they said I should get it by Monday.
Cheers for following along everybody! Back to normalcy tomorrow.
Lock away some of that cash for next year's Main. In your zeal to lose almost four grand, you won enough to almost pay entry to the Main again.
sounds like a great trip...and one your dad will think about for a long time too. As a dad, the idea of a fun holiday trip with one/any of my adult kids would be brilliant
thanks for the posting. what was the final P&L?
