whenever you seem a very high volume poster you never saw before it's usually from playing games in POG where you can easily get dozens of posts each day for a game
read up on it - very interesting but also not as cut and dry as "i will pay 85k" as there's about 200 applicants each year and only 24 are selected and if you get rejected two years in a row you can't apply anymore
no fee until 1980 and was just a nominal one for a very long time, only in last decade did it sky rocket up in cost

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the time it's a studio paying the 85k for a celeb to get some pub right before a project is released.

I walk on the people movers and keep walking when it ends so I feel the effect of the stopped ground beneath me.
I jump on elevators going down to get that extra height and to aggravate my co-riders.
I have run up an escalator going down for the challenge.
Unless very late, I have never taken a step on an escalator that was taking me up or down to make the trip go faster.
Having limited experience with eu escalators (Munich, Shippel, that big airport in Belgium), my feeling is that they are less steep than USA#N escalators. For example, walking up or down to the Munich underground was an available option, whereas hiking up the broken escalator over LV Blvd was to be avoided at all costs. More steps but less height per step?
