Apparently 40,000 robots wanted to come here yesterday. They were triggering a zillion searches and overwhelming the server. The admins had to add that verification feature to get the forum back up.
Why was that happening? My guess would be a disgruntled banned poster with some basic hacking skills, but who knows.

What do I care if they think they're "owed" something? They don't think I owe it to them. If they damage their brand by complaining about their salary, it doesn't affect me. If they succeed in shaming someone into giving them more money, it doesn't affect me. So why does it piss me off?
