2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
How early are you guys taking Hampton?
I think I’m going to take him behind only Tee/Jacobs/Brown in the 3rd
GS3
First time back stacking Tua (fell to 161)
Purdy, Penix, Tua
Breece, Kyren, Brob, Shipley, Giddens
Puka, London, Zay, Jennings, Pearsall, Burden, Malik
Loveland, Likely, Waller

I’ve only been taking at the 3/4 turn still. But he’s going to be at the 2/3 turn by the start of the season, so that seems reasonable if you want to chase it now.
The earliest I've taken him is 26. I prefer him now over Brown and Breece.
Purdy, Stroud, Geno
Bijan, Hampton, White, Guerendo, Giddens
Jamo, Zay, Jennings, Pearsall, J Higgins, Burden, Wandale, Thornton
Bowers, Schultz
I took my first Hampton/Najee combo in one of my slows. Najee was at pick 150. Shrug.
Originally post-draft, I predicted that Hampton would move up to the mid to late-3rd with late 2nd as the ceiling and Najee would fall to 12/13/14. Funny how we’re getting there.
But I was wrong on the initial reaction by the market to Hampton. I guess I was right about my first instinct of Najee in the 10th.
Hampton - mid to late 3rd, with potential to reach late 2nd. I definitely don't think he drops from where he's been going to the 5th. I think the market is going to froth over the landing spot. I said I'd take Najee 10th or later yesterday, but I think it should be more like 12th/13th/14th after thinking about it more.
Tried to get a little unique at the beginning with this one.
Mahomes, Penix, AR
Hampton, Cook, Spears, Charb, Shipley, Chubb
Lamb, MHJ, Rice, Deebo, Pittman, Palmer, Felton, Burton
Hock, Pitts, Sanders
I really like taking Hampton on Nico and Ladd teams.
Sigh, one of my biggest exposures and a huge key to how I’ve been attacking WR uncertainty and rookies.
That sucks. I like Mooney a lot.
Me too. It means I’ll probably end up with more Pittman and Kupp, which isn’t ideal.
Lamar, Dak
Bucky, Mixon, BRob, Blue, Lloyd, Eli, Corum
Lamb, Pickens, Flowers, Egbuka, Bateman, Doubs, Dyami, Slayton
Kincaid, Strange, Kmet
This one was a mess. Get sniped on Nix by the same guy who sniped Burrow, so I spite pulled up Mims at 121. The Burrow snipe was at least defensible since he had Tee.
Decide to back stack Bryce, and he snipes Legette and Coker. Fortunately, I had the wherewithal to pull up Sanders at 193 to get at least one stacking partner for Bryce.
Kyler, Bryce, Dimes
JT, Pacheco, Mondre, Sampson, Bigsby, Keaton
Chase, JSN, DK, Sutton, Jeudy, Mims, Wilson, ADM
Engram, Sanders, Kmet
Silly things that have worked for the last 3 BBM Winning Teams
1. With the exception of Mostert (BBM3). Every player finished in the top 75 for their position in the previous year.
2. With the exception of Tyquan Thornton (BBM3). Every player had a Madden launch rating of 70+
3. No rookies drafted past Round 4 IRL were taken.
I was in on the bengals dbl earlier in the year, but I’ve decided it’s too much capital, so I’ll have less than 5% of my chase teams w tee moving forward
I think my Chase teams are roughly
Tee - 25%
Brown - 10%
McBride - 25%
MHJ - 15%
And then some of them have combos of two. But I’ve definitely been trying to mix in other players, especially with what we know the field is doing.
I agree, I generally don’t want to have early stacking partners together. I think I’ve done Puka/Adams at like 10-15%. I’ve done McBride/MHJ maybe once, but that one is the toughest sell.
I’ve done some Worthy/Rice, AJB/DeVonta, Jennings/Kittle, etc.
I try to avoid doing too much in the first 5-6 rounds. Team stacking is more powerful later in the draft, because it can bring average players along and boost ceiling.
I mainly pair Chase and Tee on teams I want Burrow, but we know how well that's worked out for me.

Went through the current list of players on UD with an ADP, and these are the ones that should be faded based on the above criteria.
Obviously, there's a lot of players on this list that we all like, so I'm not actually advocating we fade any of them. But I will be bookmarking this post to come back to at the end of the season to compare.
Very happy with this squad
Daniels, Love
Gibbs, Hampton, Sampson, Hill, Giddens, Hunter
Reek, Flowers, Deebo, Golden, Pittman, Shaheed, Doubs
Kraft, Pitts, Ertz
Pom #1 - Tried to load up on W17
Kyler, Fields (120), Bryce
Chuba, Kaleb, Javonte, Braelon, Ford, Eli
Chase, MHJ, DK, Diggs, Kupp, Legette, Lazard
McBride, Chig
The Pom streets are rolling! I like both of those teams.
I just fired this gem. I think it turned out really well for only having one WR through 4 rounds.
Spoiler
Maye (126), Herbert (139), Geno (174)
Breece, Cook, Ekeler, Giddens, Justice, Corum
CD, Flowers, Diggs, Golden, Pittman, Harris, Pop
Bowers, Andrews (115)
This one also turned out pretty well too. I missed out on AR and Dimes, so I added unstacked Dart. I should have passed on Jonnu and locked one in but was hoping Dimes would come back with his ADP now at 207. The 1.01 took both at 192/193, unstacked lol. Their other QB is JJM.
Spoiler
Baker (106), Trevor, Dart
Henry, Mixon, BRob, Tank, Wright
Nico, Evans, Worthy, Hunter, Egbuka, QJ, Keenan
Warren, Otton, Jonnu
Both really solid teams
