PLO coming "soon", or so we've been told since launch.

Last two days my screen has gone blank with nothing but a grey screen on each table and the lobby. Have to force quit and restart the program each day.

Reported two tables for collusion today. Very similar to the stuff we were seeing on Bovada. Over limping big hands. Multi-way pots that only targeted a few players. It would limp through almost every hand that we weren’t involved in. I had AA and had a third limper with KK. Had another with AK vs QQ and I bailed.

I grind HU on here (mostly 5/10 and 10/20). Action has absolutely fallen off a cliff. Anyone notice the same in full-ring cash? Pretty disheartening, but glad I banked over 6 figs while the getting was good.

Only going to get worse now that mail ins got completely gutted. That's hundreds of thousands of dollars prob removed from the ecosystem.

I haven't seen any.

I need this to change.

Wish they would fix the multi table issue. Wasn’t there word this would change post gold rush?

Sadly it feels like I’m a loser on the site watching everyone play four tables while I’m stuck at one.

They openly use a5labs.co to run, provide, and service their gameplay. a5labs 100% provides liquidity bots and neural network solutions to sites to up the traffic on the site and basically create an illusion of a busy site.

Im near certain this entire site is a farce and the majority of "players" are house liquidity bots.

I have reason to believe they nerfed equity on AMOE participants as well.

I looked at https://a5labs.co/about-us/ and it gives kind of the opposite vibes to what you say. Where are you seeing the bad stuff you say they do?

How much do I need to play to cash out promotional play winnings?

Won a 4-figure amount in the WPT Gold Rush Freeroll, and am nowhere close to being able to cash it out just playing MTTs. Is it calculated based on the rake you're paying in MTT entries, or something else?

Just from the interviews I have heard with these guys, it seems they are serious about game integrity. Obviously people can say whatever they want in interviews but I got the sense they were genuine so for now I have more confidence in them than I do in the security team at Bovada or ACR right now.

That said, I have seen some "Bovada like" players over the last few weeks. This is the first time since the site launched that I have had these vibes. I have no evidence to back this up, this is just purely based on 20 years of playing online poker giving me at least some intuitive sense of when things seems off, but either some international colluders have made it onto the site using VPNs or there are starting to be some bots. Just in my personal opinion, the $2 and $4 straddle games are starting to play more like the Bovada 200NL and 500NL games. Maybe that is just because the average quality of player is better now compared to a few months ago but I suspect they are some of the same players from Bovada now.

If what I suspect is true (with no evidence) that international players (colluding? from same stable? Bots?) are on this site - I hope they are actively looking for this and banning/confiscating funds when they find this.

A5 labs does security for WPT Global and Gold. 2 months ago a 130+ bot ring was uncovered by a player on WPT Global which they later confirmed was running for months. Their "great security" and bot detection software didn't seem to work lol

You have to put the money into play and win to withdraw it. Play cash game and get called and split the pot counts too. Jam and no one calls it doesn't count towards the playthrough. If you play only tournaments you'll only be able to withdraw future tournament winnings.

Well, I never said they had great security .. I was just saying that It seemed liked they were at least trying (I don't think Bovada is attempts to police their games).

Another thing I will add is I have seen tons of brand new accounts in the last few weeks that seem to be playing well (i.e. aggressive). That is also strange to me because for the last few months I have been playing with mostly the same regs.

Yea I was referring to the guy in Joey Ingrams podcast that worked for A5 labs saying they had great security. I knew he was full of it 5 minutes into the interview. It is similar to any branch of law enforcement saying they are winning the war on drugs lol. Cheating is here to stay in online poker unfortunately. That doesn't mean they shouldn't try and stop it. It just means it will never die

Been having a lot of disconnect issues the last few days. I wonder how much is lost from disconnects and blinds being posted when you sit down? Also, why does it make you post the straddle if you miss the small blind due to not reloading quick enough or getting a short disconnect?

Looks like they sent out an update in the middle of the afternoon that caused the disconnects. Site is so bad. I feel like there is about a month or two left before things fall apart. Game quality has declined, but still good enough despite the high rake. Be wary if you get down to 2-4 handed and a bunch of bad stats all sit down at once. You are getting colluded against.

Think we can all agree (or at least have a near consensus) that, at minimum, this is not mathematically true poker. Derive your own conclusions as to why a company might have an incentive to have bigger hands and bigger pots. And then make a conclusion why nobody has ever certified their RNG, when any computer science program in the country would do it for free.

Just sad these sweepstakes sites have to go to such great lengths to manipulate the games why can’t they just make it fair for everyone? How can Doug support this?

I don't think it will actually make a difference to some of the "it's rigged" folks in this thread, but the RNG was recently certified.

I don't know when it happened (or any other info) but this has been on the site for a while.

Perfectly fine to question anything in online poker. We’ve seen enough as a community to be skeptical. As far as the rigged stuff you hear it in live poker with some idiots.

But we are all human and I do think some of the crazy variance is causing some of the reaction here.

That said this specific poker economy is very interesting and I do think could be “collapsing” from its heights. They did some great marketing, reached tons of players that otherwise weren’t playing on other US sites.

I could see how the cash game model might not be sustainable with high rakes and the current format. Games are drying up a bunch since multi table and there are for sure some odd player types. But rigged? Nah. While I had heaters and downswings I kind of had my usually win (or loss rate lol) over a big enough sample of hands to feel skill played the biggest factor.

With the current state of sweeps and the fact that the money will dry up faster than you think probably this site it’s the solution to our long term problems US player facing accessing good sites in states with no regulated market.

Personally between the fact I can’t multi table, have to jump through hoops for them to actually see I’m in a legal state is such a pain in the ass it might be easier to just play for fun on other easier accessible sites.

If I was grinding online for pure profit I’d ride it out longer but I’m curious where some of these guarantees and games are at next year.

They manipulate their games and make sure losing players and or strategies win more often than they should and keep the retention/churn going, and I will explain why they are incentivized and HAVE to do this to be profitable specifically in the sweepstakes model.

They HAVE to give away an alternative method of entry to exist legally in the USA. The way they do this is by giving out postal requests where you send an envelope and notecard in for the cost of postage and they (used to) credit you 5 sc for free. Unlimited entries. I have literally made 20k+ in sc since march doing this and my all in equity has been close to 4 standard deviations below expectation across that time.

They can not be a profitable company without nerfing and crushing players like me. They have to offer this to be legal and there are 100s if not thousands of users that grind these sweepstakes entries.

This is why they use a5labs to create "solutions" and "liquidity" in their games. A5labs says they are for security publicly facing but they are really a liquidity bot and neural network provider that "fixes" their games and optimizes their churn.

This is why they also do not have PLO yet they cant figure out how to balance the distributions and outcomes so that it passes standardized math testing on a small sample because of the extra card removal they cant make the distribution of outcomes make sense while also running the regression logic of their liquidity bot network hence delay delay delay even tho it should take a solid programmer maybe 1-2 weeks to implement PLO.
