The homage to Cheat to Win Eddie

Strange that it started really strong with both multi-way matches, but started to die down once it got to the one on ones. The cage match and AJ/Dom were particular disappointments, even if the Eddie tribute stuff was strong. Up to Cena/Cody to carry the night, but I can't see how they can possibly out do N1 finish.

I mean we already know cena can’t go anymore so this match is going to be ass no matter how hard cody tries to carry it

The ending will either be epic as **** or tonight will have sucked ass

N1 was pretty trash carried into epic status cuz of a solid main event and even more incredible finish

N2 was pretty trash and the only thing that saves it is an epic execution of a cody turn

I mean ****ing seriously if Cody doesn’t turn

Never paid attention to AEW while Cody was there, but I genuinely feel bad for the guy in a weird way

The guy got himself unbelievably over despite years of being overlooked and underbooked and to oneout’s point he loves being a face

Even though I legit believe Cody elevated his his mic game, Cena’s retirement tour for now probably the worst thing to happen to him

This match has been better than the WM one so far.

I'm quickly reminded why babyface Cena was always so hard to root for.
