Mix game journey
Having had three years of experience in mix games ranging from getting raked to death at $4/8 to shot taking three times at $3/600 n 4/800, with the conclusion of the 2025 wsop during which i donked off 14k in tournamentsfrom my high point which put me as a lifetime 9k loser in tours, I put out some youtube vids on mix games. Same name on YT - badugiwrap.
In the past two weeks ive had the following plays based on win-loss with a profit of 4k
1-0 at 8/16
1-4 at 20/40
4-0 at 40/80
2-1 at 80/160
Then I booked two losing sessions at 3/600 for a total of -26k
I am on my way to southpoint for a 50/100 mix game
We usually have o8 n o-hi there but today is gonna be mix; I'm looking forward to the grind

i should have check called but instead i led which is a mistake cuz I run into aces so often
Example of me being a super nit - action player asked the game to be changed to hi only like many other nights.
I decided to sit out until the game is hilo again.
Funny thing is I would be ok w hi only if I come in knowing that's the game I signed up for as I told a few people that I am willing to give hi a try.
But it messes with the flow if the game is forced to be changed.
So chaotic here.
And game kicked up to 75 w 1/2 kill. 1/3rd kill

After game broke, Jack n I chatted for a bit then TK n I had a long long convo, one of the best post match convo I've had in a good while.
Lots of personal stuff n lots of good advice - always appreciated when coming from a reg.
I hope to resolve these loans from those people back home and look forward and run well to avoid more bad gamblers in off-the-felt activties.

Taking tomorrow off to finish some school stuff. Declined a seat in wynn 20 cuz I'm pretty burnt out.
I am not too keen to play the bellagio 80 tomorrow either hence I did not sign up in the group chat - I want to be ready mentally and make sure I play my A game. It really matters when this is your income source and I am in no place to donate at such a stake.

I run once only (wouldve chopped if run twice as club flush second board but we always gamble!) and lose a cap to start off the session.
Playing like this - no wonder I lost 26k in the PLO orbit alone!
The way Tim talked about his feeling about the his best bud owing him money n not paying, which is absolutely unimaginable, really touches me.
And I have to play poker for a living, having these things that make me so angry on my shoulder, really tests my character.
The southpoint game is a strictly omaha game. We just happened to run a mix the other day at SP; it could be a reoccurring thing, depends.
The mix games around town obv have draws - badugi, ace, deuce, badacey, badeucey, drawmaha, single draw lowball
I am playing like a maniac today in the 50/100 o8-ohi rotation game
