Is that possible in LA?

ELD reports from Boulder Station and is tailed by security due to Nomadic profiling near the parking garage.

ELD is up $47 at Boulder Station and will move to his apartment in the next video.

Meanwhile Urban Nomad reports he found a $60 per month rental in Cambodia which is more than the Sienna storage unit of $250 per month rental. Urban Nomad will seek social security while he is in Cambodia since economic jobs in California are not worth the effort. He complains that Trump is not spending enough money for Nomadic benefits. Urban Nomad goes to the O.C. for the Vietnamese mall and also gets $20 from a fan. Orange County has a Nomadic heritage wherein after the Vietnam War, South Vietnamese Nomadic Capitalists moved to Orange County and bought cheap property in the 1970's and later earned large capital gains after buying Orange County properties. Vietnamese property owners in Orange County can now rent to Nomadic Section 8 renters for income earning. This amounts to a full circular route of Capitalists fleeing Communism to then embracing Socialism rent subsidies since the rents are too expensive for anyone to pay in Orange County.

It's insane that you can summarize an 8 minute vlog in two short sentences, and you haven't left anything important out.

ELD believes every mundane detail of his life is worth sharing. His heart is pure, but he's just a complete dullard.

ELD'S vlog is exactly what I foresaw mine being. I thought about starting one in 2014 when I lost my job ... I figured it would be extremely boring and decided not to.

I think it's fair to say he doesn't really have a heart for poker. I never see him discussing hands or strategies. I think he just likes the lifestyle of spending time in hotels and cardrooms?

He's like a wannabee accountant because he's obsessed with numbers and tracking hours and income, but there's never any point to anything he says.

It's too bad that some of these freeloaders can't put as much effort into finding and keeping a job as they do looking for handouts.

Today's video Trooper and Lady Trooper check in to their nomadic comped room.

T shows a stack of 100's and Doritos and nomadic snacks although he fails to buy Gatorade an essential hydration drink for nomadic method.

T says he can get used to living nomadically in hotel rooms.

In a vice versa scene of ELD's video wherein ELD while in Harrah's filmed the window view of Venetian, Trooper shows the window view of Harrah's from the Venetian window.

Trooper goes to Venetian Starbucks.

Trooper pursues Phoenix Link and Buffalo Link and Ascension.

Trooper gets more Starbucks and pursues Queen Chiu slot.

Trooper loses $299 and pursuit of loss will continue in part two.

You make some very good points.

Also, when has El Diesel had a $1,000+ session? I would think that he has had some, but I can't EVER remember him speaking of that in the last few years. Has El Diesel had a $500+ session in the past 3 years?

If he has not, what is he doing? His strategy and game selection is simply atrocious.

I play in Detroit, and at the 1/3 level, $500 and $1,000 winning sessions are not common, but they DO happen. I would say that these happen about 10% to 15% of the time.

I also play "medium" length sessions, usually a minimum of3 hours up to 8 or 9 hours.

I would think that the Detroit market is not as dynamic as Las Vegas....but if a person can win in Detroit, and have a reasonable hourly rate, I would think that it SHOULD be much easier pickings in Vegas WITH a higher hourly rate.

No,the answer is no he never had 500 or 1000 dollar plus sessions in recent years.

Said shortly,it is because he is playing trying not to lose-that is vastly different than playing trying to win and maximize EV.

I forgot to mention that while I try to make as much $$$$ as I can, I am a "tight" player.

This is actually starting to become a problem for me, as some of the regulars recognize me and sometimes I can't get paid off or get action. HOWEVER, there are enough casual players, people on tilt, or simply not good decisions that allow me to get paid from time to time.

I'll play suited aces, small pocket pairs and even medium connectors. This is especially the case IF I have position and/or I'm playing other deep stacks.

At this point in time, I'm definitely a bit tighter than I should be. If I were to open up my starting ranges a bit more, I would probably make more $$$$, but would have more variance.

It is good to be bit tight, but things can be taken to detrimental extremes.

I simply can't imagine how tight El Diesel must be. If he were smart & disciplined, he would question his results AND take steps to improve and get better.

Evaluating your position and strategy and making improvements to it is really the sign of intelligence I think.

And if he ever had a time where he won a huge pot somehow and had 500 bucks on the table, I would imagine that session would immediately end

Correct. Another thing he always does to prevent having bigger winning sessions,is to lock up tiny wins and cashing out.

The extremely risk averse style he employs is a very good cautionary tale on what every good solid winning player knows: you simply have to risk money in order to win money. Its not possible to protect yourself from losing sessions when variance hits.

His swings were a microscopic and he'd brag about them. It's a joke. He did a week long trip with H&R where they played the same stakes and often the same games and Rice would be like -80,+60,+110,-40 etc

And H&R was winning or losing 600-1500 a day.

He also thinks having 500 dollars in a 1/3 game with a straddle 6 is "deep stacked".

he thinks a 120 bet into a 360 dollar pot is a "big bet" even though it's only a 1/3 pot bet.

If he was just playing for fun as a hobby then whatever. But being a smug 1/2 pro while being petrified of swings is just torching money.

Most people are naturally risk averse. But most people aren't "professional" poker players. Strange thing to be when gambling for a living.

The risk adverse strategy of ELD is mainly to earn comps. Comps can be used to buy french fries and heavy condiments can be added for extra calories.

After a long week of comp earning, ELD can buy pizza and Gatorade.

There's a reason why Diesel is "enjoying" dealing and looking to deal more. He's making nitty 2-5 reg hourly with no swings or downsides.

Why get better at poker to make the same hourly he can dealing? Why do you think he's identified which rooms he would want to deal at and what they all have in common? Mostly or all low limit NL games where he doesn't have to think about the exact pot size or have to identify the high and possible low and then split the pot.

The way he plays poker is exactly what he desires from dealing. Doing the least possible work and thinking while making easy low or no variance money.

It's actually quite astonishing coming from a know it all and someone with a strong work ethic as long as that work is easy, mind numbing and requires no thought.

Urban Nomad drinks a Corona with mechanic Mr. Chim and discusses Nomadic vehicles.

Toyotas are the ideal vehicle for Nomads due to reliability. The Sienna and Corolla are the best Nomadic models.

Keep the battery clean. It can be cleaned for free at Autozone by borrowing the battery brush or by applying comped Diet Coke which will dissolve the corrosion.

Replace the battery every year if in the desert and every three years if on the coast. Keeping the battery fresh will protect the alternator and starter.

Stay away from CVT transmissions and ideally the manual transmission is the best for Nomadic use.

I might add instead the Nissan Quest van is superior to the Sienna since it has a timing chain which doesn't have to be changed unlike the Sienna timing belt and as well it has a hatch for access to the fuel pump whereas the Sienna has to drop the tank to change the fuel pump which is hard for Nomadic repair. In the alternative, cut a hatch in the floor of the Sienna for easy fuel pump access and replace with OEM Toyota parts only.

Diesel just likes the numbers in poker, hates gambling, and thankfully he’s stuck dealing or working at UPS for the rest of his life. Imagine if he did work a professional job when it took him weeks to understand how overtime works and refuses to ever admit he was wrong. He’d ruin people. If he was a CPA he could send some poor idiots into bankruptcy or a major tax debt, meanwhile he’s arguing with them while holding up his weird 3 finger hand sign “I said 3, 3 times I told you I wasn’t wrong, you’re just miserable!”

Pure comedy from Trooper’s latest slots hustling vlogs, nickels, trooper nickels! Multiply the first digit by 5!

biggest leak in most people's game is playing too many hands. best strat is continue to play a tight range while picking other spots to win pots you normally wouldn't be expected to

He gets roasted pretty good in the comments. One guy says that a free stay at V is all the vacation two broke people in their fifties can afford.

I love it when he gets burned good.

Meh, kinda. If a bad/unlucky player is stuck bad, SOMETIMES they will stay and try to get unstuck. But in Vegas, they will sometimes just go next door and play there.

Now that he's employed, that strategy will be followed even moreso. Playing break-even gets him comped rooms and food. And now that he's in an apartment might mean he doesn't play at all. He's highly incentivized not to play. He can't lose what he doesn't bet.

and yet he voluntarily gave up dealing for like 8 months

How about some actual poker content? Crazy idea, I know. But, this Jon Pardy fellow is actually fairly entertaining.

He seems to be putting together a decent 2025 WSOPME run so far. No spoilers please, I'm really excited to see what happens next.

That Vegas Vibe reports a Nomadic Method flaw and she was charged $20 for early check in at Harrah's despite being Diamond tier.
