He also doesn't lose $500+ almost ever. He is a grinder, a Knish, just looking for one big bet per hour.

Every hand he discusses he has AA. I'd say he probably only plays one hand per session and after that he quits, win or lose.

That's not a good thing.

I agree

Knish played limit though and 1 big bet per hour is a solid rate in limit, probably equivalent to 8 big blinds per hour in NL. So $24 per hour at 1/3 or $40 at 2/5

You may be right that he is that far out. I still remember a hand where Rice had KK in a solid squeeze spot-but opted to just call from the BB instead because it was too much to risk getting in pre with like between 400-500 in front of him. Lmao

It was a little sarcasm

by bobw525 m

I figured you probably knew but others may not and I couldn't handle Knish taking a hit to his reputation and getting lumped in with ELD

ELD reports from Boulder Station and is tailed by security due to Nomadic profiling near the parking garage.ELD is up $47 at Boulder Station and will move to his apartment in the next video.Meanwhile Urban Nomad reports he found a $60 per month rental in Cambodia which is more than the Sienna storage unit of $250 per month rental. Urban Nomad will seek social security while he

Today's Wordle would be right up your alley! I wonder if Vegas Nomad plays Wordle, he would also get a kick out of today's solution.

Anybody remember the 90s nickelodeon cartoon “ahh real monsters” ? Ya Diesel most definitely reminds me of Krumm.

Based on today's video, I would say Rice has about a $500-$600 a month room. It's small but it has a TV. Not a lot of space.

Also, how does he get 9 pages worth of info for his monthly newsletter?

It does look very small. How does this work,is he just renting that room and is sharing bathroom/kitchen with several other people?

That is a way of living i could not imagine at his age and point in life, but of course paying the absolute lowest amount of money as humanly possible is the only priority for Rice.

Being 40ish and sharing a bathroom with someone other than a significant other (wife/partner/gf/etc.) is pretty rough.

If I was in his shoes, I’d probably rather just pay a little more for the casino rooms (assuming I couldn’t find a “regular” 1 BR/1 bath apartment somewhere).

Most likely there are others renting a room. They share a bathroom. Shared kitchen and refrigerator.

Having lived in this situation, the living room, etc, , are probably communal but not utilized often. Especially with TV in his room.

I have lived under these circumstances twice for a year each. Both times there have been "personalty conflicts" between roommates. But I just stay in my room and to myself.

The problem is the lease. He probably has month to month in the room.

A casino room is significantly more money. He spent $3200 in June.

Johnny Vibes recent video is so f*cken LOL. Dude has less followers than Diesel and talks about himself like he's a titan of poker, social media and the business world.

Yeah,i watched that as well. He is pretty cringe, just because he cant beat live tournies he is making this dramatic video preaching this and that.

Its also no shocker that midstakes events with massive fields especially during WSOP comes with massive variance as well.

Never liked Vibes or his vlogs. Always felt he was condescending and elitist.

Twatts obviously didnt appreciate being burned with some truthbombs in the comments on his last slot video,so now he is back to his old self deleting comments he dont like.

In Starbucks news TMZ reports NFL player Terrell Suggs pulls a gun on a Starbucks customer.

Luckily he didn't do it while the Troopers were there.

It's insane that you can summarize an 8 minute vlog in two short sentences, and you haven't left anything important out.

ELD believes every mundane detail of his life is worth sharing. His heart is pure, but he's just a complete dullard.

Who’s the bigger dullard, the dullard or the dullard who posts summaries of a dullard?

true but people also massively overestimate their edge in these donk fests. How many grinders are realistic about their long term ROIs in these things? Who is really saying " i have a 30 percent expected ROI in this 1500 dollar event so I'm making 450 dollars by playing" vs just hoping to bink the bracelet? Of course there are some truly elite players, and some people randomly will run hot but overall live tournament grinders are mostly on the hamster wheel. That's why you'll still see them 10-15 years in, tons of cashes and still selling pieces.
So there expected hourlies aren't that high and the variance is MASSIVE. So how exactly is it a good idea to play them for a living other than just hoping to be on the super far right side of the bell curve?

I'm not a huge fan of Vibes in general but he is also proof that you could make a decent living playing mid/high stakes cash without being great at poker.
If you put 100 solid players over the next 10 years in tournaments and 100 solid players in the next 10 years in cash I'd bet way more guys made decent living at cash than tournaments, but the tournament group would have a couple of outliers who made tons of money.

Agreed, lots of good points. Especially how many players vastly overrstimate their own edge.

One thing i find very laughable as an example is how many players vloggers, players i personally know++ always talk about how great the structure is in this or that tourney. Like, the solid structure or "lots of room for play" isnt even close to as big advantage for you in particular as you may think.

In his first video he said he was in the top 90 or 95% of tournament players but to make it you have to be 99% and he wasn't willing to put in the work to make it there. Dude is a clown top 95% lol. Maybe top 50%

What are the odds Diesel trimmed his beard at the new place vs. before he left the hotel (after the sequence where he moved some but not all of his belongings to his car). Astronomical?
