if a genocide was ongoing, there would be no need to talk about sending them away. they would all be on their way to death soon, that's what a genocide is.
so they are either trying to kill them all (=genocide) or trying to kick them away, can't be both.
if you want to do a genocide, why don't you kill every one in those queues for food? everyone you meet at any point? how can it take more than 3 years when you can fully blockade the area and have literally all of them dead for hunger in a month or 2?

The people that are interested in relocating (like all other refugees from other conflicts are allowed to) should ba allowed to do so.
There should not be specific politically motivated organizations (unrwa) and rules for Palestinians to discourage and block emigration generationally.

The UK and other countries, rightly or wrongly, tried "putting pressure" on the Taliban and look how that worked out.

I would put it in the same category as Turkey (pre Erdogan), kind of straddling the near east and west, with cultural components of both and its own distinct culture separate from western liberalism and the Arab world.
Although I would argue whatever moral crimes Israel has committed, turkey has done much worse on a much larger scale.

I’m a genocide enthusiast because I think it’s preferable that people not be used as human shields for Hamas? I think civilians should be moved out of the warzone but the international community seems to prefer civilians dying to that. Just a weird post all around.

I oppose dead Muslim babies, that’s why I think October 7th was a horrible error because it led to a miserable war with tragic loss of human life and a total collapse of any type of progress towards peace between Palestinians and Israelis.
Unlike you and victor who love October 7th because you get to see your two favorite things: dead jews and dead brown babies. You love it. Every day you wake up and watch more dead babies. You fantasize about all the dead babies that will be killed because of this horrible war that Hamas started. Why? In college I had a humanities professor from Lebanon, who knew an old woman from a small Syrian village where some people still knew how to speak Aramaic. He had were read some bible passages in the language and played it in class. It was pretty cool.

Why is it that you dont hear any lamenting about never going back for all the people fleeing wars in Syria, Sudan, Ukraine, etc.? Because it is an absurd concern given the circumstances.
You could say the same thing for any of the other 100 million (or whatever) refugees and asylum seekers fleeing wars, persecution, or just seeking better economic opportunities.

Many of these young people want to see what will happen, if the Israelis will be forced to make major concessions, if the US/Europe relinquish support. In the other situations you mention, it's more hopeless for the refugees because idealistic Westerners have zero political leverage over Putin, Assad, HTS, etc.
