British Politics
Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.
Your really have tpo go some to miss it:

someone better might be able to link it as apicture
Elrazor probably posting another of Matthew Goodwin’s fake polls.
"proportionate" is an interesting word choice in a poll. The response was objectively disproportionate, but the question should be if a person consider it legitimate or not to use disproportionate force after what they did on 7 10.

So you can find data that both support and oppose your original statement. By definition, that means your statement is not a "fact".
Elrazor's poll is from yougov and the reason he didn't post a link is because he didn't want us to see that support for the Palestinians has also risen by about 50% of its Nov 2019 level, and both these things are possible because "don't knows" has fallen off a cliff, unsurprisingly.
David Cameron keeps his money in Panama, Rees-Mogg the Cayman Islands, Zahawi Gibraltar and Tice Jersey. Then rightwingers lecture the rest of us about our lack of patriotism and say a wealth tax will cause capital flight.

well only one was attitudes to Israel but whatever. if you think that attitudes towards Israel haven't got significantly worse for Israel then whatever. We will just have to disagree
imo they have changed very significantly and it's being reflected in politcs. The once politcally deadly attacks on anyone who spoke up in anyway against israel have lost so much of their force.
Actually, the article accompanying the data I cited is explicitly about attitudes, whereas the link you provided doesn't mention attitudes once.
Either way, it isn't a "fact". At best it's a theory and at worst it's good old-fashioned anti-Semitism.
Mine is about Israel which is what i claimed. yours is about a conflict involving Israel.
but as I say if you think that attitudes towards Israel haven't got significantly worse for Israel then whatever. We will just have to disagree
Shuddup antisemite.
You said opinion on Israel had "dramatically shifted", and stated this was a matter of fact.
Opinions on Israel probably have shifted (mine has), but this is neither a fact nor dramatic - It's just some opinion polling that appears entirely contingent on how you ask the question.
We simply disagree on this. I think it is a fact and it is dramatic
Okay, but if you believe this "dramatic fact" is going to have people queuing up to vote for Zara Sultana, then I have a bridge to sell you.
I dont think that.
i think that the attempts to smear that worked so well against JC last time will be significantly less effective next time.
Okay, but if you believe this "dramatic fact" is going to have people queuing up to vote for Zara Sultana, then I have a bridge to sell you.
Let's see... Sultana has no ministerial experience, she's bailing out of her current constituency and going to contest another one next time, she's advocated for the FBU while failing to declare an interest as the rules require (ie she's married to an FBU hack, who she claims isn't a 'lobbyist' except he wrote an FBU paper titled 'How to Lobby Your MP'), she bounced poor old Corbyn into declaring a new party when he wasn't ready (he complained that she'd 'jumped the gun'), because she's aggressively trying to piggyback her personal project on to his national name-recognition, and she's now publicly called him a sellout for 'capitulating' to the Zionists. (I ask you.)
I can't see this ending very well for her and, as with her maverick predecessor Mosley's post-Labour and increasingly antisemitic projects, the 'New Party' and then the BUF, it's probably better that it doesn't end well.
People are sick of professional politicians who only know how to make backroom deals and have no ideas and no principles. That class has ruined this country.
I don't see this endling very well for her either, but she has courage and principles even if those qualities will see her slaughtered by the mass media, at the very least. If they can't destroy her directly they'll go for her family and friends and smear her that way, incessantly, and every day if she appears to be gaining traction with the public.
And you'll be joining in. In fact, you already have by ludicrously comparing her to Mosley and labeling her an antisemite, an accusation you really should be careful with because, unlike Corbyn, she seems quite partial to litigation.

If they make the party about Israel then it will at best just be a pressure group. It has to be a proper left wing party that is primarily policy focused on the big domestic issues and also has decent principles on international issues. i.e what labour should be. It will still be a long hard slog and we have to stick with it.
If they do that then the smears will be increasingly desperate (like the mosely one) and have little impact.
at worst it will create a singularity that swallows up the universe
I post about Luciom far more but to his credit he doesn’t go running off to his mod mummy and daddy to protect him from criticism when he posts something bad, so they don’t notice the posts.
