while fundemantally the goalpost imo got moved, a bnch of early adopters loived how it was so untied to he market and to the economy but npw that its so so tied to our stock exchange its been a different tune and goalposts have sifted a lot in 15 years
however I do thin BTC is here to stay, for a longtime. back then if youtold me btc would go upadn down as the markets did I just wou;d have thought thats not what most people would have wanted (at that time)
