THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reac
I just think you want competitors, especially in NYC. Reed can handle the pressure and Harmen is a gamer and a great foursomes partner for someone like Bryson.
Edit: just saw a rumour on X that Burns already received the call he's on the team.
If Keegan goes off first both Friday and Saturday he's got all the time in the world to make decisions for the afternoon. And if him and his partner play well and win in the morning then they go back out in the afternoon. Just hate it when a team dominates in the morning and then gets broken up or sat in the afternoon.
It would be really cool to see Keegan pick himself and he probably should after being snubbed last time. I just don't think he does it.
really wish keegan would
his play merits it
and i'm no where near a bradleystan

I agree he has earned it he is in the top 12 and I thought he got shafted a few years ago.
The issue is being a captain they say is a lot of work and if they lose you know what the media's take will be. If I was him I just captain as much as he may want to play
and Keegan leaves himself off....huh.
Lame. No drama.
Kind of want a blowout result. Which way? I don't really know, I just want carnage for one squad.
PSA (and not the PGA)
the Irish Open has a five way tie for the lead with nine holes to play, including Rors
clutch putt
let’s see how the youngster does in the playoff vs world #2
John Daly took a 19 on a par 5 today: a "double septuple bogey." I'm fond of that terminology because I once took a 24 on a par 3 ... and called it a "tri septuple" without missing a beat. LMAO!

How on earth did you take a 24 on a par 3?
My brother took a 17 once on a par 4. Easy to remember because it was hole 17. He hit tee shot after tee shot OOB. There was no one behind us so no harm done.

That's classic ... a 17 on 17. Did he develop any heptadecaphobia? 😃
Mine was for real on a volcano type of green ........................... miniature golf par 3. Tough hole. 🙂 But we were real golfers then and coming up with that on the spot was hilarious. Actually I was trying to come up with what kind of bogey that was and me and my brother said it at virtually the same time - "tri-septuple. Memorable. Decades ago.
